There are several components to battery reconditioning. One resource I discovered that succeeds in merging these is the Magic Mender Wizard (check it out on google) definately the no.1 info i've heard of. look at this great resource.

*This battery reconditioning program exceeded my presumptions. It worked on any drill battery, several AA and AAA batteries, **batery.repair** and any camera battery. The steps are simple and the act itself is exciting to do. No matter what type of battery you`ve got, it is sure to function again!*

Making use of the ruclips.net/user/postUgkxcJ22tnHH9l1vjdIdEIG27iOG55P7LXI8 reconditioning plan, I just saved 2 auto batteries from being completely junked. The guides were very simple to follow. I wish I would have found this years ago! You may use the guide to recondition any battery type

you did not put the supposedly dead battery into the charger, you used the charged one. the dead one is always on the right.

I’ve watched this twice now cause I thought I saw a mistake?
Sure enough there is the battery he claims was dead he never put that on the charger, he put the battery from the back row (all charged),then put that to the left of the dead battery, distracted you by filming the tests with the multimeter.

It works in most cases yes, but you should know that this battery now only can hold about only 10% to 50% of the original capacity, So if it was 1.3Ah now it has 0.13Ah to 0.65Ah.

Thats the answer I was kind of more looking for. How to Fawking bring it back to 100% capacity, & whether this trick does that.

Most drill chargers will only charge a battery if it detects a preset level of voltage in the battery, if the battery is dead flat it will not charge in the normal charger and will need this method to give it some voltage in order for the charger to charge it. The battery could be a perfectly good battery that is dead flat, perhaps through lack of use and this technique will put enough charge back into the battery for the proper charger to work. If it is a well used battery this technique may appear to revive the battery but there are likely to be dead cells or under performing cells within the battery which will reduce its output.

    Yeah, good job!
So tell me, please, if I'm put the first one is 12v 2,8Ah nimh (dead) and the second one is 12v 4,0Ah CXT lithium ion (alive and charged), wired it, like you, and then what's should happened?
    1)A Big Boom😁?
2)Success and CXT was donate energy for NiMH and reborn it?
    3) So bad idea?

Hello! Thank you for the video. I have makita and it uses this kind of battery but I don’t have the charger. Could you please, please tell me the code of the charger to search for it, please? Thank you 🙏

The faulty battery in the charger at the beginning is not put back in the charger at the end because the label on the battery at the beginning of the video is clean and unmarked whereas the battery at the end of the video has a defaced label with yellow sticker residue on it. You have either made a mistake or have been dishonest with your claims.. either way you should of made a comment about which is the truth so I guess this is erroneous.

Well I don't get pay here to put something falls or not true. The only confusion is that I had too many batteries at the same time I was making a video.

You are as lousy with your "slight-of-hand" as you are charging your batteries. You put the one you connected to the dead battery in your charger. You also never waited until the light turned green before you removed the battery 🔋charged so you don't know if it was fully charged or not. Sorry, but I think I will have to pass with a thumbs down 👎on this one!

Is there an Adaptor I can use to convert my Makita drill to lithium ion? I've been running these for ages and most 2/3 are dead.

Rori Frazer ~ Google Makita pod adapter. I just found out about it and watched the video on RUclips. There is an adapter but it isn't made by Makita but allows you to use the Makita Xp Lithium Ion batteries. I need one for my little 12 volt Makita.
