Windows 11 is basically a reskinned Windows 10 so apart from questionable hardware requirements, its Windows 10 under the hood. Everything that worked in Windows 10 still works in Windows 11. This is the first OS where people can keep all their old software and expect it to run. Its not like backwards compatibility is a bad thing! Its the one thing Microsoft got right for once.
Nice vid. I'd do everything here except two things: I don't care about rounded corners, and I think that the icons are the only upgrade Win11 has over Win10 (still not as good as the Vista/7 icons tho).

@Konan! I know, but I had tried it for more than 10 days and that option was gone. Plus, I was due for a fresh install - Adobe's microservices were bogging up my system
Thankfully none of my computers are new enough to have TPM, I'd dread to see this abomination of a software install itself without my permission, windows 10 does enough of that trash as is. Nice to see a half decent fix for the rounded corners, I personally despise them
What a great and interesting video! Windows 10 was coming on so nicely after years of updates, then just in order to be able to shove a new number on to the Windows version, they've made so many backwards steps with Windows 11 - changes for changes sake, just as an excuse to release a totally "new" version. I am still on Windows 10 and very happy, won't be updating to 11 any time soon.
Just the fact that the registry and NT version both still say windows 10 make it obvious what "windows 11" really is. A crappy skinpack for windows 10 that removes features and breaks everything.

@@i_love_games110 no because Software like direkt x12 was purposefully made incompatible with windows 7 to force people to windows 10. Also they stopped making security and hardware driver patches for windows 7 since it was discontinued. This trend isn't new Vista /7 are more or less 65% xp. You can still find some windows 3.1 code even in windows 11. The problem is that windows 10/11 didn't bring enough new features or a *_COMPLETE_* design overhaul of windows to justify a new version. Windows 10/11 also added a lot of bloat and unnecessary things to windows and removed old often used features. Like pretty much any functionality of the taskbar in win11.
@@redcrafterlppa303 first point is half true, they did purposely make it incompatible but then ported it to 7 for any developers that asked, second point is true for consumers(that does mean i agree), third point is untrue because windows vista had an updated kernel version to provide support for the mass features it added which makes it impossible to just reskin xp, fourth point is true but because microsoft purposely included it for older programs, windows 3.1 is a graphical interface for ms-dos, making it impossible for windows 10 to just be a reskin of it in the nt kernel
@@i_love_games110 first i never said that vista is a pure reskin of xp. They changed a lot. But they still share a large codebase, for example parts of explorer and some icons from xp are in Vista (even in windows 11). Second yes 3.11 was a dos program. So what? Windows is the king of compatability. With the HELP of some programs you can still run windows 3.11 software in windows 10. Even some menues in those programs link up to modern menus. That's because until windows 10 the great goal of windows was improvement in speed and user experience while still being recognizable and easily usable for people coming from previous releases. All of this was thrown over board in windows 10/11 twice. Again I never said the kernel was copied an os is way more than its kernel its the rest of the os that expirienced reuse. Rewriting every menu every feature coming from a previous release wouldn't be practical anyway.
Windows 11 brings: - The bugs and problems from Windows ME. - The glass effect and high system requirements from Windows Vista. - The touch-friendly UI from Windows 8. - And basically it's just Windows 10.
I wish there was a button at first setup or somewhere in the settings to change between the "tablet mode" UI changes, and mouse. Like it will ask if your input is mouse or touch, then the UI will change to have spacings or not have spacings in explorer, having a context menu or not having a context menu. and etc.

With more blur translucent on every UI component, it's just dream come true to me (I guess I should've just Hackintosh my PC, ~~I wish~~).
Sure, the new UI may still a downgrade UX wise compared to previous version, as you need to do extra step to everything (like context menu, accessing settings like taskbar setting, etc), but visually it's an upgrade and it's**much** better than 8 and 10 at their launch.
There's a "bug" with StartAllBack. You see, it converts the taskbar as an static hWnd to a dynamic hWnd making it possible to hide behind windows. as far as I know, uninstalling it just makes this effect worse.
To make Windows 11 unusable, all you’d need to do is install it.
Lmao
No, you don't. You just need to use it on somebody else's computer or even let it exist
One feature I do miss was being able to drag files into minimized windows, you can't do that anymore in windows 11 and it really annoys me since i am always downloading videos and uploading them to discord, or downloading minecraft mods and installing them into multi mc
I always grab the file and then alt+tab to whatever I need and drop it in
that's been fixed now

I was absolutely blown away seeing someone making windows 11 usable! I was thinking its impossible!
This video shows how heartless windows 11 is shit together. It's just a crumbling cover over a product that was brutally abused for 7 years.
You heard me right. Windows 10 might have introduced some good additions but in its core it's just the marvelous art of windows 7 broken apart and taped with ductape. And Windows 11 just puts a cover over that brutal crime scene.
by that logic everything on 10 should run on 7
@@i_love_games110 no because Software like direkt x12 was purposefully made incompatible with windows 7 to force people to windows 10.
Windows 11 brings:
- The bugs and problems from Windows ME.
- The glass effect and high system requirements from Windows Vista.
- The touch-friendly UI from Windows 8.

I wish there was a button at first setup or somewhere in the settings to change between the "tablet mode" UI changes, and mouse.
