It’s fun to try new cleaning supplies! I am big big on Norwex but love to also give other things a try just for a fun change to try and inspire myself to clean! Lol 😂 I decluttered part of my room today and it felt amazing!
I totally agree!
Yay for thieves cleaner!!! We love it and the smell is amazing 😍
Yes! It is so much easier than so many separate products too!
It's always good to realize how much we have, so we don't end up buying more of something we already have a lot of.
Yes! This stuff was buried under cabinets.
I use vinegar and water for most things. That said I have a product for toilets and 1 antibacterial cleaner that I just take to where ever I need it at the time. Great job reducing what you are using!
Thanks! Do you like the vinegar and water? Does it clean well?
Lord I go around and around with DIY vs store bought. I find something I like and they discontinue it. Today I bought a bottle of Pinesol...lol. Fill up the bathroom sink with water and a splash and start wiping the least dirty working my way to the dirtiest item folding the rag over itself for a new surface. Everything sparkles and smells clean. One and done. It really felt faster than switching bottles and rags for every different surface. Efficient and effective.
You really can’t go wrong with Pinesol!
I'm a Method girl myself but have always heard such good things about Thieves!
I had to quit Merhod Antibac because it burns my throat.
@@simplejoyfilledliving I don't care for the Antibacterial stuff either! I do love their other sprays and the granite one!
One Blessed Mess same!
I actually used and love method. Unfortunately I can't find them here in Puerto Rico. I've heard about Thieves but have yet to try them.
I like Method too except the Antibac, which burns my throat. But, it is much easier having less products!
I had to downsize my cleaning product as well. I didn't realize I had so many that did the same thing.
I was surprised about that too.
I have yet to try out the Method brand cleaner! I had to downsize my cleaners the other day as well !! 💞 God bless you and your family 💞
Thank you! ❤️
Thank you for sharing about your cleaning products. I lile the idea of donating instead cluttering since youve changed your cleaning plan
Thanks!
I will never give up the Clorox or lysol for toilets LOL or to keep on hand in case we have a really yucky illness in the house. It's just peace of mind for me to have it. Although I LOVE my thieves and vinegar for everyday cleaning.
Same!
I loooove Clorox wipes. 😬 I want to try the toilet cleaners!
I love them! And I loved getting rid of the brush even more!
I need to try Thieves I have heard some great reviewaps.... I love decluttering anything lol.
Same!
I’m not wanting to try thieves! I mainly use vinegar and a Norwegian cloth.
I’ve used vinegar too.
I have never heard of Thieves. I'll have to look into that one.
It is a Young Living product. They sell it as a concentrate that you mix with water.
Thieves is amazing, I have tried this one.
I love the smell of thieves and use it sometimes just because of that. Otherwise, to clean and disinfect my entire house I have use my own mix. In a large spray bottle: 1/4 cup of isopropyl alcohol, 2 TBSP Dawn dish soap, and the rest water. (Often I add about 10 drops of lavender or thieves because I love those smells). Thank you for sharing?
That sounds great too! Thanks for sharing your recipe!!
Legit that is the Holy Grail of multipurpose. It disinfects and it's streak free...what more could you ask for?
Love those buckets are those all from grove? I can’t use thieves bc I’m massively allergic to it but I have heard great things about it.
Yes, they can with various boxes over the years.
I used to be a hoarder of cleaning products. Now I use Windex multisurface for everything.
I’ve used that before too. It’s good!
I use thieves when I can afford it but most of the time cheap cleaner
It is expensive! But it also lasts a really long time, however I have never added it up to see if it is cheaper when you look at it like that. I suspect it is still more than using other products.
@@simplejoyfilledliving it is very good though. I love the smell. I guess you get what you pay for. :)
I love the method brand but I am a huge Meyer's brand, I love their different smells.
I like the smell of Mrs Meyers but it seems to leave a sticky residue.
Our Blessed Life I might have to consider switching
Love this! I need to do the same!
Thanks!
Don’t flush the Clorox toilet wand stuff. They clog your pipes. Just trash them
We’ve started doing that. It makes more sense. Thanks!
Thank you so much!!!!
You're welcome!
I don’t see cleaning products that you like as clutter, I keep extras in a box in the garage. And shop from the box. In the early days a woman would shop once a month and she would store the extras. What I see as clutter is a family of 2-3 people having 24 mugs or water glasses along with multiple plates etc. it’s great you are donating items but I personally keep at least 6 months worth of good products. I shop from the Grove company😁
I agree with keeping things that are working great and shopping from those. We do that too. One of those products causes burning in my throat so in replacing that one, it allowed me to replace many of the others as well and just not have so many extra things to need to keep buying. So it saved me a lot of space as well as money and eliminated the throat burning problem too.
Mirrors in bathroom???
I clean them with a homemade solution of water, rubbing alcohol, and essential oils.
Hi Colleen! Could you please stop and say a prayer for our cousin? Her name is Dezare. She's a wife and mom of 3 boys and she's battling cancer. It's not looking so good. The great news is that she's a strong believer and will most definitely see our Lord if she passes. But of course, selfishly, we'd like for her to stay with us a little longer. Please pray that whatever happens, that people are brought to HIM because of it.
Thanks! ❤
Just prayed for her. So sorry to hear this.
@@simplejoyfilledliving Thank you! ❤
Then the rona happened...did you end up keeping??? Also Totally awesome at the dollar tree/DG $1 is AMAZING for the outdoor furniture, white window trim...spray and wipe...everyone here gets it!!
I need to go to Dollar Tree! So funny that you asked about the Rona and if we kept the cleaning supplies we decluttered, because I was thinking about that earlier today at Walmart while looking for cleaning stuff. We kept a good bit of it but then used most of it up on our porches. I gave my mom the antibacterial spray that bothered my lungs. Hopefully she was able to use it. The good news is that I had stocked up on Clorox wipes right before all this happened because I wanted them for each bathroom and the kitchen (not knowing they would be worth their weight in gold now)!
Please don’t flush the clorox thing after you clean your toilet throw it in the trash
Thanks for the tip!
