So far, this guy explains everything a lot better than most youtubers. Others want you to pay for their courses before actually teaching you simple strokes. Good for you!
Hi I watched your video yesterday and I couldn't wait to try your technique and I started a painting today and everybody said what did you do your trees look great and I pointed them directly to you it was wonderful and I'm now going to do excellent clouds!!!
Karen, thank you so much again! And just a heads up, if you would like to submit any photos of your paintings for me to feature in my videos, please absolutely do so. I would love to see how your work turned out. You can message them via Facebook, Instagram, or email them. But either way, no doubt you will indeed paint some excellent clouds 👍
Kenny I just started painting again, it lifts my spirits I have stage four cancer and I'm 70 years old but painting is a joy! Can't wait to see what you do next!

Hey, Nancie! Thanks again. You keep watching and I’ll keep creating. There will actually be a new painting released this Friday for St. Patrick’s Day so keep an eye out for that 👍

Hola, your instructions are quite clear and i am grateful for your expert illustrations! NOW WHAT I MUST DO IS TO BUY THE BRUSHES I NEED TO PRODUCE THE DESIRED EFFECTS! ALSO THE PAINTS YOU MENTIONED LIKE CADMIUM BLUE ,ETC. GOD BLESS YOUR WORK AND VOCATION FOR HELPING US BEGINNERS. SALAMAT PO( THANK YOU) FROM THE PHILIPPINES.
Hello and thank you! I appreciate your lovely feedback so much. As for your brushes, just be sure to purchase natural bristle hairs since they work best for oils. I recommend the brand from the Alexander Art company which you can find online. And the paints I recommend are Winsor & Newton but if you can get your hands on Gamblin or Grumbacher that will work just as well. Good luck on your painting journey and let me know how it goes. Thank you again 😊
Believe it or not, failing is what you’re going to learn from more so than mine or any and all of the videos on RUclips. Art is continuous trial and error. Please let me know if you have any questions for anything I wasn’t clear about in my video and indeed do let me know how you did. Thank you so much!
Hey, Petra. Thank you for your question and for subscribing 👍 So to clean my brushes during painting sessions I use a non-toxic solvent that I have yet to reveal. But more importantly, I give my brushes a thorough cleaning and conditioning after every two or three paintings. And for that I use what’s called “Masters brush cleaner and preserver”. A simple google search will take you to a round tub of this soap. Maybe in a future video I will show how exactly I use it. But that’s the key to getting a lot of residue paint out of your brushes and keeping them long and lasting. I also store my brushes upside down to prevent residue from leaking up into the brush furrows ferrules.
Still in development. I just want to finish up the pain along videos of season 2 and then ALL the follow up tutorials between the clouds, mountains, and even more trees will be created. I appreciate you asking though thank you 👍
@@Kennysgreasypaint thanks Kenny honestly like the way you took the time and patience to explain . I have listened to the acrylic version but want to learn the nuances using the wet on wet technique. Thanks Ken - live your cooooooolmway too! Cheers dude.
@@germanshepherd8187 Wow! Wish I thought to do a painting like that lol. But that's a great idea for a scene. I think your best bet to go about this would be to use a black canvas. I would highly recommend this link I have for you below to one of my paintings. Now granted I made a big ol' planet on the right of it, I would just place that in your own painting and color in the moon however you want. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, I traced out a circle using contact paper and then stuck it right onto the black canvas before I added any medium onto it. So if I were you, I would use contact paper, size out how big you think your moon should be, and then stick it onto the canvas once you decide where it should be in your scene. But I really appreciate the kind feedback and support.
