    Great reaction I get the same feeling of being overwhelmed whenever I listen to this album. I've heard easily over a 100 times. Never gets older stale. You hear something new everytime you go back.
    Highly recommend lyric videos and HEADPHONES FOR TOOL ARE A MUST.

    Great reaction, glad you enjoyed the song. Tool is an incredible band, generally described as Progressive Rock/Metal. Its members are Maynard James Keenan (singer) Danny Carey (drums) Adam Jones (guitarist) and Justin Chancellor (bass)
    They have 1 EP, 4 studio albums, and a live album. This song is ninth track off their third studio album of the same name released in 2001.

    Danny Carey is your Drummer. Tool is one of those bands that creates deep complex music very well. This one's just my all time favorite. Well I like the message of growing and evolving by spiraling outward as you go through life. Tools a fun band to toss in . You just can't go wrong if that's the genre someone's wanting. I dont even listen to a lot of hard rock anymore. But passion is universally recognizable. Thanks

    If you really want to understand what this song is all about may I suggest watching "how tool used math to create Lateralus" by POLYPHONIC on his RUclips channel. It shows you the attention to detail that tool always uses IN structuring their songs. The drums are structured in direct relation to the Fibonacci sequence. The lyrics are structured around the sequence as well and it even has references to the golden ratio. Just check out this video it's about 5 minutes explains everything I think you'll be amazed... ✌

    If you want to hear the drummer flex, listen to Ticks and Leeches. As the story goes, the record execs were demanding that TOOL write a heavy song on their album because.... well... “the kids like that Slipknot stuff with the heavy drums.” TOOL answered with Ticks and Leeches, and the lyrics make it very clear exactly how they feel about those record execs. They even put a long super mellow part right in the middle of the song as a fuck you to them.

  • @themfnjessiah
    @themfnjessiah 6 лет назад +3

    Just finished.
    If say it's just that we have to not lead stagnantlives. It's about forcing yourself into a life of exploration, growth, experience. The Fibonacci sequence video does a decent description of its mathematical spiraling outward.
    The syllables add together as he talks about infancy at the beginning. Each line growing following the aequence. It's deep but the video is fun .. It's not worth the depth just cool that they put that effort into 1 track.
    The closing is
    Push the envelope watch it bend. Feel my will to embrace the random reaching out to embrace whatever may come.
    Lose myself between the sounds, embracing weeping, ride the spiral to the end we may just go where no ones been.
    It's just about not being complacent and evolving
    Experience it (exactly what you did instead of worrying about a deeper meaning. Complex shit for a very simple message.
    Spiral out Keep going (x3) *end*
    Chorus was over analyzing separates the body from the mind. (My habit and why I love the song)
    They get a lot of attention on other react channels. I won't push them but every track has the same unique depth. Maynard is a bit crazy and that drum set is insanely huge. I'll stop there.
