We live in Western Pa. and Have around 100 Acres of Land, About 1/2 is ours the rest is my moms, We have 4 kids and one grandchild, 3 Golden Retrievers and one Cat. We enjoy working on our property and making impovements. We sell firewood and soon will be selling hardwood lumber.
R&R Building channel. Kyle knows everything about pole barns and building them. You definitely need to check his page out.
R&R is close to me. I watch him too. He knows his stuff for sure.
I have been watching "LUMNAH ACRES" for about a year now and they have just purchased another 500 acres of wooded land and are getting ready to build another Homestead.
To be honest it was your channel that really opened our eyes to the usefulness of tractors and excavators for property management. It was also Andrew's channel. I remember watching a video of his where he unloaded an excavator from a trailer on the side of the road and in no time he had a road and the beginnings of a home site roughed out. I thought, dang, that is the hardest working dude I have ever seen in my life. After owning a tractor for a couple years I bought our little mini-excavator last January and absolutely love it. Money well spent. We use it for all kinds of things on the property. We even do a little gardening with it. We used to be avid boaters. But after buying our property our priority changed and I can tell you that the amount of money we spent so far on our tractor and attachments, Wood-Mizer LT35HD sawmill, and the mini-excavator, pales in comparison to the cost of our SeaRay sport cruiser. We are enjoying working the property much more than we did boating, so it was a no brainier to sell that thing. Besides, these equipment purchases are much more useful and hold their value way better than boats do. I only wish I had discovered this sooner. Keep up the good work.
Good morning everyone. 29º in Kansas City now. Hope everyone is well on this Monday. Stay safe, be humble & kind and have a day.
Same to you Phil. from South Africa.
I always like to see hunter smiling.
Other channels I enjoy are GP Outdoors, Andrew Cammarata and Tractor time with Tim. Stay safe and have a good week.
Cheers from Germany.
I Watch Andrew Cammarata, he’s very talented.
Look back on your footage pre-covid at Hunter’s face. He looks much happier. He looks into the camera. I think he has gotten over some camera shyness.😎
Now that you mention it, he really does seem more at ease. I hope we are right!
I was going to say the same thing. Must be getting used to being a celebrity.
Mike and Melissa mentioned, in a prior video, that he is happier now that he's home full time, and no longer attending a day program.
Word from someone who has done it. When pushing trees down be careful not to push too hard with the cylinder it can cause a bend in the cylinder and cause the seal to leak. done that been there and it was costly. The cylinder didn't look bent, but it was enough to make the seal leak. Great looking machine, I'm envious of the cab. The current one I have has a cage but not a cab. Love your channel and wish you all the success you seem to have coming your way. My channel is small but I hope since I have retired (somewhat) that I can put out some good content like the Morgans.
Mike, there's a guy in your neck of the woods ," Diesel Creek"
Does all kinds of work . Another good channel
One of my favorite channels
@@InLineDiesel6 yeah Matt's a cool guy can't wait to see what he does with the old Church project
Good channel uses older equipment much like Andrew
I watch his channel too.
Morning Morgan's! We received a good amount of snow. Calling for single and - ° starting this coming weekend into the following week. Still early though. Hope all are well and have a day! Tell the family hello.
Andrew Camarata is the king of digging
Andew is the King, period.
He does have a castle......
I really like letsdig18, Chris is a Master.
He is one of the best I've ever seen. Never a wasted move. Always thinking 3 or 4 moves ahead!!
i once sat in the seat of a small dragline and with help of the owner, managed to actually dig half a bucket full. Mike, u amaze me with your variety of skills and Millisa amazes me with her willingness to take on all jobs............i am new to your site but have spent much time watching your videos.........awesome..............and family...........the best
Always like to see Hunters smiling face, you the man....
Letsdig18,outdoors with the Morgan’s,dirt perfect,
I enjoy Good simple living; wild, wonderful living; Trent and Allie; Life uncontained; Out of the Woods; and, of course, Melissa’s channel. But the first place I go is Outdoors with the Morgan’s!
Another channel you would like is Jesse Muller. He's a neighbor/friend of Andrew, and sometimes they do a joint video. Jesse is talented in several fields and always has something interesting to watch.
The thing I like about Andrew is he rarely ask his viewers to like or subscribe because he knows if he puts out entertainment people will like and subscribe.
I bought a compact excavator and spent the winter clearing my woods out. I had a ton of small trees robbing nutrients from the larger ones and just crowding the space. I also had numerous dead fallen trees. I own a Danuser tree puller but getting a tractor in the woods to do this kind of work isn’t very productive. I’ve owned a larger Volvo excavator for several years and leaned so many operational techniques rom Chris (Letsdig). I met him at ConExpo two years ago and that was a real honor! He’s helped me out a lot.
Good morning Morgan’s! Cold snowy day here in Southern NJ. Have a day!
Some of my other favorites are Dirt Perfect and Buckin Billy
There are two types of RUclips I seek out. One is merely how to accomplish a task, such as mechanical, electrical etc. The others are those that allow the freedom to interject and add to the event. Comments are important since the second party usually has an independent voice, free from competition and sponsors.
Mike Is like a kid with lots of big toys.
You will have to show Ty how to run your machines when he is 14 or so, Make sure he keeps his fingers away from the splitter wedge. Hey Mike, can you license Eva to record some background music for your posts, maybe also Melissa's channel!
Good to see Hunter getting his BK. Two new guys I have been watching are K&H tractors and Digginlife21.
I’ve been looking for an excavator because of Andrew and others.
I really enjoy “Western Truck and Tractor Repair” on RUclips. Warren is the salt of the Earth. Warren takes you along with him on his repair jobs out in the field and in his shop. He is an excellent mechanic and by watching him you get a free education in how to tackle problems with your equipment. In fact he was my inspiration to jump in and rebuild the engine in my 1967 Ford 3000 tractor. Nice to have a fresh engine in the old boy. :)
Phil here from NE Indiana. Watching Mike Morgan run an excavator makes me want one. I have no real need for one and it's not in my budget but it sure would be fun to own one. I would find something to do with it. Never have run an excavator, I'm sure I would be terrible at it but Mike makes it look soooo easy to operate. How hard can it be?
I do know it's not as easy as Mike makes it look. Mike is an operator of all machinery. He is good.
Something tranquil about watching a excavator operated by someone who knows how to use it.
Other than your channel I watch RedPoppy Ranch, Tractor Time With Tim, Dirt Perfect, and Trent and Ali
Have a day.
Bruce from Mason Michigan
Mike, You mentioned Chris Guins and Andrew Camarata' channels, both interesting characters. With Chris, you couldn't have a better teacher, as the things he can't do with an excavator aren't worth knowing in my view.
The sound on the music is so much better. Thanks for the video, and keep up the great work!
It's tough to keep up on comments. Even on my own channel I try to answer them all and every now and then I will find one I miss..
As for channels I watch, back40firewood, in the wood yard, outside with scheib, outside in Michigan, Ohio Wood Burner, Larry Kluck for automotive Atkins Rotary, shooting cars. There are many more but these are the main ones I am proud to be part of and help thrive And of course outdoors with the Morgan's.. 😁👍
Here are a few I watch. Hometown Acres, GP Outdoors, Northern Seclusion, JoeandZach Survival, Boss of the Swamp, NB88, Femalelumberjack, Country View Acres, Andrew Cammarata, and Back 40 Firewood. All great people!!!
I forgot to mention “guilty of treeson” good tree cutting footage and knowledge
I watch Chris all the time, same as yours. He's a heck of an operator. He handles that big rig like a momma with a baby.
I like outdoors with the Morgan’s because Mike seems like he has it all figured out. Definitely enjoying the finer things in life! Also enjoy Buckin, Killinger, back 40 and let’s dig. Watch these U Tubers and I want to stack more wood, hang more axes and dig a
Excavator smooth machine, hard to fault the Kubota’s. They work hard, our Mx5100 has been a dependable workhorse, Take Care and say Hi to Hunter for us! 🚜🪵👍🏼🇱🇷
Sure is satisfying to watch brush piles burn down.
Hi Mike, your my number 1 channel at the moment, Forgotten Weapons, Harry’s Farm and Harry’s Garage, Out of the Woods, Time of Grace, Jay Leno and Mark Fenton are the ones I watch most months.
Other than this and Melissa’s channel, I watch tractor time with Tim, Goodworks Tractors, A Ritter Bit Will Do, Leno’s garage.
Let's see, HUNTMAN, an excavator, mentioning Melissa's meatloaf dinner, rough plumbing, firewood..........this one had it all. Aaaaand, now I want meatloaf, and an excavator, and a trip to BK. I need an intervention. hehehe
What other channels do I watch? Well, my tastes are rather eclectic, of course I watch MOTL and the following.... 310Pilot, Baron Pilot, Premier 1 Driver, Citation Max, hedblom, Mr AJ Works, Kapper Outdoors, Lets Dig 18, DigginLife21, Andrew Camerata, OffTheRanch, Tractor Time with Tim, Daily Driver Exotics, Savage Garage, Stradman. WOW that is too many and we both know there are many more. I'm not retired but am on disability so I have more time than money to watch RUclips Videos. Thanks Mike for sharing, I personally like these 24+ minute videos.
good morning from Vancouver Island. Home of the Nanaimo Bar. bet you can't eat only one!... thanks 4 video. be kind.
Definitely watch Andrew, plus Wranglerstar, Letsdig18, DirtPerfect, ProjectFarm, LumnhAcres, wildWonderfulOffgrid, MySelfReliance, and a channel from Switzerland of a super skilled guy who restores otherwise trashed, rusted tools to better than new: my mechanic . No talking, no music, just straight up riveting content. Guy is by far the best at what he does.
Edit: oh man, how could I forget....Jimmy DiResta
Lol. I love Andrew Cammarata’s channel.
I want you, Andrew Cammarata, pitmaster X, keeping it Dutch, Red poppy ranch (I think you’d love that one), Hiddenheights farm, stony Ridge, maple berry farm, sawyer Ridge, off grid with the skinners, Grind hard Garage, southern off grid, demolition ranch, off the ranch, And a few others. I don’t always have time to keep up with everything but then I can binge watch and catch up on most of these. Other than that I watch a lot of people building work benches and custom tools, there’s a guy in Poland who builds tools like wood splitters and planners and different saws and stuff like that pretty much from scratch, anything with metal fabrication or woodworking stuff as far that’s building workbenches and construction stuff. I’ve done some furniture and finish woodworking but it’s really not my thing but structural and construction stuff I love.
I watch some of the channels already mentioned by many, and I also like Project Farm, Upstate Brush Control, and Precision Transmission.
Wild Wonderful off Grid, Lumnah Acres, Andrew Cammarata, lots of other as well.
Follow them both, amazing things you can accomplish with the right equipment
Sawing with Sandy,Out of the woods.
Great channels!!
Hi, from Coldstream, Ontario. It was really nice to hear that you watch Andrew Camarata’s channel. I so enjoy watching him repair his equipment and completing his management jobs. He is one of my favourites. I also spend hours watching Shawn James and his “Self Reliance” channel. I’ve started watching Hometown Acres and enjoy his expertise on working with the firewood industry. The Baird Brother’s ,Jim and Ted, travelling on the river’s of Northern Ontario and camping outdoors are also on my list. If you enjoy wood carving, Doug Linker is a great one to watch. Finally, another friend of those that I mentioned in Ontario is Joe Robinet. He also does outdoor camping and building in the great outdoors. I usually start my day however with Outdoors with the Morgan’s. Thank you for sharing your life and family with all of us.
Good day Morgans!! Happy Bizzard to you all from NJ!! I’ve watching Letsdig18, Andrew Camoratta, Hometown Acres, Diesel Creek, and of course your channel!
I also very much enjoy watching Chris and Andrews videos. Your videos are also very interesting and informative. Thanks.
You can add yourself to the list of folks that is helping folks buy excavators!
You bought a very nice rig. I want one terribly bad.
Thanks for the great videos.
Very very Satisfying video about clearing land. Fantastic. Like the 404 video with the bobcat.I did the same work last week around my country house. The channels that I follow there are just named in the comments but I wish you Hedblom,it's thr best operator with the engcon tiltrotator... his videos are magic. I'm an Italian boy
firewoodfred says " I watch Andrew C's channel Letsdig and several others" .
i like a channel called out of the woods. live about five miles from his place
The Morgans are my number 1, followed by Out of the Woods, Fall Line Ridge, you put me on Hometown Acres, Ohio Wood Burner, and Wranglerstar.
I like MartyT. He’s like a real life MacGyver but from New Zealand. The dude can fix anything.
Thanks for sharing Mike. The excavator is earning its keep all the time. It’s not over kill it’s plain old HANDY . Hey Hunter back on the Spicy Chicken 👍👍. Good choice. Take care. Stay safe, Fred.👍👍👏👏
I love to watch Buckin Billy Ray, he's a hoot. I have picked up alot of useful information from him as well. Out of the woods is another favorite. The Iron Horse as well as some more. I'm always recommending "Outdoors with the Morgans" to my friends. Keep em coming...
Wow, because you asked. We watch very little regular TV so we do watch a lot of You Tube. Mostly your channel followed by Morgan's off The Leash ❤, My Self Reliance & his second channel Shaun James, Tractor Time With Tim, The Wandering Woodsman, Out of the Woods, and Buckin Billy Ray Smith are the most regularly watched for my wife and I. We do watch several other channels when we have more time to watch but they mostly have to do with outdoor activities. We also do watch some video's on Rumble but you asked for You Tube. Glad to see you took the Hunt Man out for lunch,, every time we drive down 19 through Zelli we have to smile when we pass the BK.
Lumnah Acres and Kapper Outdoors are a couple of good channels I watch. Kapper spends much of his time working in an excavator around his homestead. I also like Life Uncontained but it's a different kind of channel (very popular also).
Nice machine. There’s nothing it can’t do. 👍👍👍❤️
Good morning Morgan family ☕️ Happy Monday, currently snowing here in Philadelphia... expecting 6” to 10”, OH JOY, have a blessed day and stay safe
5 degrees is perfect plumbing weather because cleaning up poopcicles is much easier than when its warmer. Lol. As far as other channels.. the 2 you mentioned plus Fall Line Ridge and Out of the Woods.
Good morning Morgan's from snowy East Tennessee! Letsdig 18, diesel creek The Kelly's, Out of the woods, This farm wife, and Morgan's off the leash, others when time permits. 👍
The equipment is like a paint brush to the landscape... Let’s Dig 18 , Andrew Camarata,Dirt Perfect, Captain Kleeman, Vice Grip Garage, Diesel Creek... Morgan’s off the leash....I usually watch your show during lunch...
dirt perfect is a good channel to watch for something you will need in future ... repair work on excavators
I found a KX057-5 at a dealership about an hour away with a cab. Got a pretty good deal and pulled the trigger. It really is a great machine. Lots of power.
Let's dig18, logger Wade, off grid with Doug and Stacy, One lonely farmer, Harmless farmer.
Hi Mike , I also watch LETSDIG18, STONEYRIDGE FARMER, BUCKIN BILLY WRAY, DIRT PERFECT , & LOGGER WADE. CANT FORGET YOU & MORGAN'S OFF THE LEASH ! 19 degrees & snow storm.
Order a mug the other day.
BBR, MOTL, Nickpixeltv, Ironhorse, Tinman, TazMan & Litl Taz, Bellhopper, Mug Club and a hand full of cooking shows.
I have been missing the BK runs lately. Always good to see that big smile on Hunters face. Please tell Hunter I said hi.
I watch Andrew Camarata and Letsdigit too. Lot of woodworking and homesteading channels. Unfortunately I am in SE Texas and way to far away to take advantage of your sawmill. We have couple local guys cutting Cedar, Cypress Oak and a little bit of maple. East Texas is mostly pine forest so the hard woods are hard to find. No walnut or cherry. I am a bit jealous of your resources.
Hi Mike. The KX057 perfect for your operation. Small to med hardwoods and nice PA soli. here in SC the large pines and thick black muck soil would put a hurtin on a 13k lbs unit. I use and old EX 120-3 Hitachi at 24,500 lbs and quite often wish I had more. But you have the right idea, work and pace yourself to the machine's capability
Hey Mike great video and love watching the excavator work i would live to own one. Im ready to see how big the shale pits going to be plus maybe you'll have a topsoil pile with all the old tree debris you'll scrape off the top. Thanks for sharing and until tomorrow
I watch all those channel's to plus dirt perfect but I only have 2 acres but my north property line is fenced with big trees grown in the fence and would love to clean it up but I can't afford to do it. Rent or buy or hire plus theirs a natural gas line back there that probably has roots grown around it from all the trees so a Chan saw crew might be the only way plus stump grinder.
Stay safe with that storm heading your way!!
And the land plane takes out the GoPro! 😬
A channel I like to watch is Irontrap Garage. They are another Pa youtube channel. Yinz are the best.... Ron
I have been watching Andrew Camarata for quite a while too. He sure has is a great channel.
I was a 992 operator. B model mostly but some C model. Best job of my life. To bad the work ended too soon.
18 degrees at 8000' in Basalt, CO, Mike. Don't sweat the critics that question your purchases. Gnats that also bother WrangleStar and other RUclipsr content providers. Envy gets in the way of clear thinking. They don't realize what that machine will save in labor and rental dollars paid to get the same work done: They just see a shiny toy they can't afford.
Wish you had that forestry mulcher back?
Off Grid Homesteading with Boss of the Swamp, yes sir!
looks like the excavator was a good buy
I watch Andrew Camarata as well and Chris at Letsdig18. Chris is a master at operating an excavator. A lot of his videos are long but I watch them all to the end. I’m just mesmerized. I am glad that you got an excavator now so I can be mesmerized some more! Enjoy the snow!
I also enjoy watching Lumnah Acres channel.
I watch all the channels you mentioned, another good one is Dirt Perfect. 👍👍
Hi Hunter! Keep them guessing at Burger King. Mike, you are a surgeon with that excavator. So smooth! Besr wishes to you and your family.
Good Video, I just looked at you website, I love the family picture it is great. nice website.
Great plan for the new clearing, looking forward to see that come together. Thanks.
Hey Mike. Thanks for another good video. I enjoy watching Chris at letsdig18, too, also A Ritter Bit Will Do, Neil Koch: Dig-Drive-DIY, Good Works Tractors, Dirt Perfect, GP Outdoors, Hamilton Farms, A Tale of Three Cabins, The Mindful Homestead, Hardy Brothers Outdoors, Tractor Time with Tim, My Cluttered Garage, and Millennial Farmer. Then there are the channels I like to watch and share from for my music teaching job. Lot's of great content!
Lumnah Acres, Andrew Camarata, Hometown acres. I liked his Mike Morgan starter kit. Always like seeing videos that remind me of driving up 79N
Matts off road recovery and Fab rats are great you tube channels
Your channels for sure, Lumnah Acres, Dirt Perfect, MBF, Millennial Farmer, Life Uncontained, The Farm Wife just to name our favorites. Mike, now my wife wants a backhoe for our little Kubota. I'm sure she will find a million uses for it!
Channels that might be of interest are: Northwest Sawyer, Out of the Woods, Morgans off the Leash, mark galicic, Mathew Cremona, Pittsburg Dad and Wranglerstar. Those are the local interest or sawdust ones. I have gardening, lawn care, cobbler/leather work, fishing/cooking, cooking, hunting/shooting and history categories also. Plus sports, dashcam videos and sci-fi. And a few others, like SpaceX rocket launch sites and lately tool repair, Scoutcrafter especially. Sounds like all I do is watch RUclips but I don't. It might have bulked up a bit since winter hit though.
Recently started watching The Kelley’s Outdoor Life. They have a fishing/hunting channel as well. Down in Florida
Great video Mike! That sure is a nice machine, I always enjoy watching Andrews work. Definitely inspires many I’m sure! I also enjoy watching Out of the woods, Arms Family Homestead, Mallard5Farmhouse, hometown Acres, Tony’s Tractor Adventure, and Hamiltonville Farm!
I watch Andrew and Chris, First of all Andrew is the man of used equipment! He can fix just about anything, so no need for him to buy anything new. Except his UTV. Chris can run the hell out of a machine. And Mike if you think about it, he does excavate a lot ponds etc. but he too takes many trees with his equipment!
I watch Andrew Camarata all the time. Did you see the excavator bucket he built from scratch for cleaning out ditches? It’s recent. You should check that out. Great way to create drainage along trails!
(Denver, Retired) Channels I watch after yours are: GP Outdoors, Ritter bit will do, Out of the Woods, Tractor Time with Tim, Wild Wonderful Off Grid, Wild Wonderful After show, Hometown Acres, Tony's Tractor Adventures, K&H Tractors, Laura Farms, Good Simple Living, Stoney Ridge Farmer, Andrew C, and many gadget and home automation channels.
Hello Mike, I watch a couple of users of excavators and other equipment. These 2 are particularly experienced.
letsdig18 and Dirt Perfect Both have a large number of subscribers.
Cheers,
