Germany gave her a chance and saw something in her that Russia didn‘t. She moved to Germany as a kid and practiced in German infrastructures. It‘s not as if Germany had just bought someone who already had a carreer and had no connection to the country.
Why do you have to fight and argue? To me it is a nice gesture if Russian people congratulate. Rhythmic gymnastics is a great sport and all the gymnasts deserve applause. As far as I know, Darja is a quarter German and three quarters Russian. She chose a clever deal to train in Germany, because the Russian system is very brutal, and the competition is much more extrem (there are so many good gymnasts). In Germany, almost nobody is interested in rhythmic gymnastics, and so Darja had space to find her own way and her own style. She is a very nice person and a great athlete, from whatever nationality 🙂
@@hessu3 I was just giving additional context, no fighting here. I think her performance was beautiful regardless of which country she represents and in interviews she seems very kind. She also speaks German very well, considering she‘s only been there for a couple of years. It‘s really impressive. The other german athlete was also very good, finishing at forth place.
Дашенька ты золото, ты и Германии золото принесла, да наши русские тренеры и спортсмены были и будут всегда на высоте. Наша железная дисциплина и воля. Привет из Stuttgart ❤
the table tennis player were BORN in Germany, an the Gymnast has german Grandparents and came to Germany when she was 12 years old. Thats what a multicultural Nation is all about.

Germans are still number one in the aristocratic sport of horse riding.
@@philips.6230 France achieved football successes with Africans. I want to see how certain regions perform with native population. Europe was already multicultural. This trend we are heading towards is just bad, and kills the viewers interest. Even if they were born in Germany nobody would ever suggest they are Germans.
Зачем она ногу задрала. К чему этот дешёвый перфоманс. Как в стрипклубе типа, заманивает огатенького Буратино.Передайте Дарье ,она не в России. В Германии не оценят.

Well done Dashulya from Barnaul, Russia
She was born in Barnaul, but she is of German descent! And she deliberately chose Germany.
