I havent heard this from anyone else yet but for me at least, fatalitys has stopped working properly since the uppdate. I get fatalitys, they do the animation but no blood or gore happens. the enemy just falls over. Anyone else get this?
Also you can't run both Freya quest and Liu Fei quest at that same time which is a huge pain since they are absurdly time consuming with the ridiculous 8 hour waits. The rescuing crafting thralls just doesn't work.
Off topic of L.Settlements, but related to update - Freya's hunt quest is a mess on official servers. Some of her hunts require to go to specific rare animal spawn location, and if happens to be build over by other player, hunt target can't spawn, making the quest impossible to complete. She can't go too far away from her hut, so finding target's "twin" somewhere else in the world won't work. This happened to me with the one-skull boar hunt. His spawn is build over, and his closest "twin" is out of Freya's travel threshold. Those people really don't know what they are doing. It is not a figure of speech, they literally don't.
Agreed, and there’s so many dialogue bugs for Freya and Liu Fei. I was randomly hearing the demon voice in a broken loop both in the jungle and around my base, I know it does this at one point but it was a) repetitive and distorted and b) happening way before it was meant to. With Freya’s she kept skipping dialogue for me, she’d stop talking mid sentence and skip to her next line or just walk off. She’d also frequently give you “tomorrows” dialogue before an 8 hour time gate which was confusing and made a lot of players panic their quest was broken. There’s also an audio dialogue glitch in the volcano that spoils The Staff of the Triumvirate storyline, and starts playing glitchy dialogue on loop once you get to the boss room. I hope they fix it, kinda ruined the immersion of the quests for me (that an 8 hour time gates sandwiched in between 5 minutes of content). Luckily the official server I’m on didn’t have anyone built over the pig, but I did wonder if that would be an issue on other servers.
Of course it'a can be saved, it's just a matter of tethering the thralls so they can't go too far from their station... I'm more worried about companion quest bugs. You crash during one and the quest can never be completed.
I know its really early to be talking about it already but what do you think the next age will be? Personally id love to see a full sacle rework of the religion system, it feels like one of the weakest points in the game right now. Hopefully they can get the current issues with the update solved. As a side note, i have been teleported to the 0.0 spot before. I oogged off the game while lying on a bed just before server restart and when i opened the game again later, at first i couldnt move (animations played and stamina drained but didnt regen) and then after a few seconds i teleported to the 0.0.0 spot. Had to remove bracelet to get out of it and go back to get my stuff
I have no idea what the next age could be 😂A religion rework is probably needed, I would support it, but idk if it's an age-based thing or if it could fit into the Age of Heroes
Another issue with the living settlement update is the thrall capture journey is no longer completable, the last step require you to put a thrall into a workbench, which is no longer possible. XS
@@Mightimusit worked for my friend in a co-op session when he was the host on his first try. But for me after slotting in 50+ thralls because they despawn 10 minutes later it never completed.
Beautiful build again! I have already built a tower on my official server for everyone to save people. It is a shame what happens with LS. It is such a nice feature, I so wish they can fix it!
Aesir are essentially Nordic and red hair in Norse peoples is a relatively common trait. That said, if you aren't on official just use a mod to change her hair.

to be as diplomatic as I possibly can about this, it looks like works well on paper. I mean you can even level them like any thrall but expect them to fight like horses do. you can customize their look as well as any dancer or combat thrall you have. they do respond to some mods. and is great so see fred walk by on his way to the well like it's the water cooler. it'sd also nice to know now that you only need one thrall for the station they can work at, so for example a smelter can work every smelter in your base by itself. I can sugget that you can do thralls even with living settlements on but do not put use any tier 4 thrall you would hate to loose. keep the crafter thralls you want boxed. and let the cannon fodder work for a while. You may also find that all of the freya thralls you boxed prior the update have vanished and are replaced with one called Helga.
Weirdly, I found that all the food in my thrall pots turned into Grilled Steak with this update. A bit of a shame because I'd stocked them with Exotic Feasts.
Sad... I'm disappointed that there's so many issues. I was hopeful that Living Settlements would have the same promise that you thought as well. I really was looking forward to the life this would bring... I hope that the 'fix' doesn't end up just being the modding community trying to fix things or just simply being told to hit the 'turn off' button... :/
It would not surprise me if there are glitches with thralls placed into the green thrall marker - what happens when you change or repair build pieces that were the anchor for the thrall, for example. My servers had the system disabled until I see a formal confirmation that it is resolved 100% Thralls are showing in craftstations and that's all I need right now. I have always placed a couple of tavern barkeeps in my base to keep things moving about. Gets a little hairy as you never know if that wanderer is another player lol I look forward to seeing the new system working as expected. Will be fun. And yes, I believe the new chapter is a good addition to the game - sans the issues
So i've been playing since it came out on my console(PS5), ive placed all my workers and bartender rescued from a cage.None have been lost or wandered to far. only issues i have are the rowdy bastards stand on dinning tables. I play on a gportal rented server but its usually just me none of my friends have played the update yet.
Anyone noticed thralls just simply not attacking while out exploring or disappearing in dungeons. I had a gazelle die at my base while I was out halfway across the map.
my issue is that the "towns people" keep walking into my castle like they own the place and i find em at my desk or in my bed.. so i just turned it off and put some thralls at a stove or chair for realism..
I often play solo/offline just to build some settlements and running around the world having fun. But dammit.. it's so annoying to regulary have to run to the North to fish your thralls from the sky. How does that work on pvp servers? Seems gamebreaking
I also have an issue with moving things from my inventory to anywhere else. I have to dump my whole i ventory on the ground because ill try to drop a sword and it drops everything else around it first. Ill aslo try to put an item into a container and the item will disappear and the item next to it gets moved. It takes a few min for the original item to reappear
I been avoiding logging in this update, cause I don't want to lose my thralls on my single player files, cause of this funny bug that send them to shadow realm!!!
Anyone else having a bug with Lui Fei quest? I haven't got the option in the circle of power to burn lotus or bone meal, and his ghost popping up every 15 seconds is getting annoying.
Given the past, I knew this would be bad once it hit the real server. Let's hope they can fix it. Anyone encounter an issue where Freya will NOT recognize the skull-boar on the plateau? Walked her around it multiple times - started, restarted, rebooted --- nothing. I was wondering if it's a mod issue, but saw others saying it was a beta-test issue as well. Any help is appreciated. (I really don't want to have issues by trying to do it modless and reinstalling.)
Sometimes, I have found Freya gets stuck in a standing pose, when she's meant to be doing something or about to say something. I found that a spartan kick actually helps her snap out of her reverie. She seems to respond well to that kind of thing, if you follow the quest. 😲
@@wolfman7284 😟 The only other thing that maybe worked, was going back to her place where she stands by the fire and restarting the section of the quest.
I placed my thralls in a small room with no way to exit and they still ended up missing, when I go to rescue them it says "follower cannot be found" ive lost about 7 so far. My precious Phalia the blacksmith gone, thank God I have spare, aint placing a soul until a hotfix for the hotfix
That option is already in-place for single-player, co-op and private server admins Official servers should already have Living Settlements off per the post in the pinned comment, they'll come back on eventually but hopefully when they're actually fixed
Funcom sponsored their crap updates? Six months of shit management and again the same result, game breaking bugs introduced and never addressing all the shit they put into the game since day one... come on!
It's currently disabled on official servers pending bug fixes, the post announcing such is in the pinned comment. I think a fix is in certification now so it might come out next week or so
This is the only game where I dread updates from the devs because I don't play vanilla and they always ruin the game somehow making unnecessary changes.
Question? Anyone having this issue with their Thralls or is it just me? Everytime I look inside its inventory I see fresh meat. It could be feral meat or exotic flesh or even exquisite meat. Just wondering.
@@UncleMo65 even more annoying sometimes when you have the thrall pot and you have a thrall all the way across the map with you it will still somehow pull meat from the pot

So im on ps4 and since this daft update. I cant play.. going to my settlement/base crashes the game. Something about the thralls themself. Im on performance mode and everything. But no matter what if i go into my camp it crashes. Anyone know what i can do?
Train up and level your crafting thralls if you can. Equip them as best you can. If they can walk around, they are expected to contribute to help defending your base.

The game is good, but this update might have killed it. It needed a big, splashy "win" to get momentum after a slow Age of War, and this wasn't it. Out of 2 headline features for the update, Companions and Settlements, they've had to disable one. I just don't think the general audience is going to hang around any longer.
I love the updates. Haven’t had a problem yet. I did have a thrall randomly die but I just went to the bar and waited for a replacement one. No idea why so many cry babies play this game. What is so difficult to getting thralls? Lol. Nothing. And I absolutely LOVE the new building pieces.
Options - server settings - living settlements off. Then, you can place your thralls back to the benches and they wont wander around and still get the bonuses for all benches they can work on.

My issue is that this age has only added to the problems the game is suffering from. When you compare this to the age of sorcery this is a total fail. They spent so much time and energy on something that is effectively only cosmetic and the game needs fixes and content. I really don't want to sound negative but the game peaked in age of sorcery and has been slowly going down hill ever since. I mean has Funcom once in recent memory ever asked the community what they wanted or what their biggest issues are? Because I doubt anyone would have willingly said "I want to constantly lose track of my thralls by having them wander around all over the place."
Yeah they did a survey I want to say about 3 months back and the main answer was slow down on content and focus on fixing all the bugs. Their response was basically "we're removing battle passes to free up time and slowing down the frequency of updates to focus on bug fixes and making sure future updates go more smoothly." That went well wouldn't you say?
Again funcom management made their game unplayable... every time they want to add value, they reduce it... get rid of all the managers as a starting measure or please sell off the IPs you are abusing, funcom is worse than the tolkien estate at this point.
I think this is a problem that runs deep and wide in modern culture. Companies buy or license an IP only to siphon decades of goodwill that IP has generated while they produce a lower quality product. It's a shame.
@@Maghreb-Gaming The fix didn't work. I play on 2 official servers and between friday and today I have had my last thrall on each go missing. (on one server I recovered it up north, on the other it says the thrall can't be found.)

How are they sponsoring a guy who is thrashing them in every other video? 🥴 I lost one T4 alchemist to a bottom left bug and managed to save 2: one by recalling and the other by getting to 0,0 (she was luckly on the ground).
The update doesn't even work. Thralls don't leave workbenches and interact. Literally, nothing has changed in my game. Aside from that, the game needs actual content. Like a new map with a quest line.

Living Settlements is kinda one of those things that's probably a big internal change, but doesn't look like a lot for us
I wouldn't know I refuse to play this update! This could be the end of my Conan adventures, It's not worth the hassle anymore I'll log in once and find someone to give all my loot to then delete this game for about the 12th time!
Honestly I'm a negative nancy i see this update as nothing more then a buggy update with a few gimmick mechanics that change nothing about the game overall. I never had any faith it would be good or even come out operating properly. The only thing i get excited for is mods these days. I use the game as a glorified character creator and base builder. I fully admit I'm overly negative.
I'd say more SP/PvE/RP orientated, but yeah. I burnt out on PvP long ago in Ark, and frankly it's not my cup of tea nowadays 😂 Given that, I know I likely don't have anything more than a surface-level insight on how things work on a PvP server, so I don't tend to try and share any opinion on how things might affect PvP, it's just not my wheelhouse, and I probably wouldn't grasp a lot of the experience-earned nuance
Yeah, I reckon living settlements would be a nightmare on pvp, but then again pvp players are already sadistic-masochistic so maybe they will miss these bugs when they are fixed ;)

Why did I think this time it would be different? Rhetorical. I just don't care anymore. I've been through the update where foundation pieces decayed because the parameters were changed, logged in to have all thralls disappeared because of a timer change, and banned during the last age due to a bazaar issue, along with hundreds of others. Then when purges were dropped they didn't work and FC went on holiday, even the camel mount wasn't right. Like WoW, the developer cured me of my addiction better than any 12 step program.
The main feature of the update is completely broken. That's the only funcom that can release shit like that and then sponsor a video about it hahahahaha
That moment when a random dude with zero knowledge about how your game works internally can output a mod with not even a fraction of the issues a bunch of professionals can do. I almost think they hired a bunch of rookies who never did a game before to make these updates and transfered anyone with mininal knowledge to their next game.
My 5c worth, if you are buying the bazaar items at this point you are only rewarding them for failure. Boycott all ingame purchases till they fix everything, money talks. And if I am right they will fix it fast rather than lose their revenue stream for Dunes development cuz lets face it, this update is pretty lame and simplistic. Using the already existing mechanics from the fighters. placements from bartenders and animations that the NPC's have been using for ages anyway and or emotes for the "needs". I could write both Hero quests in Pippi in a night they are so lame (and have done similar things with Pippi just for shits and giggles). The only reason they feel perhaps like large missions (i dont feel they do but maybe some players do) is the pointless 8 hour wait between stages. (well I guess i just answered why the waits there, to make the missions seem larger and therefore make it look like they spent more time on it than they actually did) For all the talk about slowing down content to get things right and removing battlepass to give more time to fix bugs and make sure future updates go smoothly all I have to say is WOW way to EPICLY FAIL.
Just wanted to let you know I've unsubscribed since I'm disappointed to see you've become Funcom's patsy. I used to admire your actual honest opinion, but seeing you downplay how absolutely ridiculous the disappearing thralls issue is just shows you've been bought out by the Chinese too. Funcom took longer to develop their new ages, yet this happens. They released testing for months where this issue was noticed and reported, but still released it to live. It's unforgivable and I won't be giving them another dime in the bazaar.

Me saying that Living Settlements is a good system when it works is somehow sticking up for all the bugs? I don't quite see how, the caveat of the bugs is baked into the statement I regularly make videos excoriating the game's problems, both in the paid content and the free updates. There's a distinction between liking what the features are aiming for whilst recognizing it's not working as intended
Sorry but I think it's a real stretch to keep calling it a "Needs System." The Sims has a Needs system. If a specific Need isn't fullfilled there is a consequence. So far Conans system is more like a bunch of idle animations that trigger when there are certain objects around. Don't get me wrong I love the ambience it brings but to keep calling it a "System" is a little insulting. It's just short of saying your thralls now have "Advanced learning AI" as they decide where to "rest" and "eat" or "sleep."

Dude! all the time!! or sometimes i just hear the audio and get the fatality boost but no animation they just stand there looking at eachother XD

You can do both at the same time. I have done it on 2 servers & the wait time is just 3hrs
@@kevinh5522 Not for me I do Freya and the Liu Fei quests all stop progressing until Freya's is completed.

I've heard otherwise, if you slot a thrall into the green ghost position it should work, at least according to feedback I've seen from others

On official I have had floors and building pieces randomly decay since the update. Mostly floors in the middle of my builds.

It was a good run liked itused cooks and priests no problem..but i raid so no need for a lot of thrawls lost one one time and had to save it.

I have always placed a couple of tavern barkeeps in my base to keep things moving about. Gets a little hairy as you never know if that wanderer is another player lol

Thralls like fighters, archers, dancers and bearer used to eat from the thrall pot.. do they not do that anymore? Thrall pots even needed anymore?

I haven't, though I've only tested it on single player. Argossean Extension seems pretty much fine on my end
So i've been playing since it came out on my console(PS5), ive placed all my workers and bartender rescued from a cage.None have been lost or wandered to far. only issues i have are the rowdy bastards stand on dinning tables. I play on a gportal rented server but its usually just me none of my friends have played the update yet.
Anyone noticed thralls just simply not attacking while out exploring or disappearing in dungeons. I had a gazelle die at my base while I was out halfway across the map.
real question : what is active part of this update ? what we have that we did not have to do now ?
my issue is that the "towns people" keep walking into my castle like they own the place and i find em at my desk or in my bed..
so i just turned it off and put some thralls at a stove or chair for realism..

i'm curious about the zombie thralls , they are also teleporting to 0,0 becoming hostile and being killed by the thralls already there.
I often play solo/offline just to build some settlements and running around the world having fun. But dammit.. it's so annoying to regulary have to run to the North to fish your thralls from the sky. How does that work on pvp servers? Seems gamebreaking
I also have an issue with moving things from my inventory to anywhere else. I have to dump my whole i ventory on the ground because ill try to drop a sword and it drops everything else around it first. Ill aslo try to put an item into a container and the item will disappear and the item next to it gets moved. It takes a few min for the original item to reappear
So will this go by the way of God bubbles and transferring back and forth from exile lands to siptah? Things never fixed....

Anyone else having a bug with Lui Fei quest? I haven't got the option in the circle of power to burn lotus or bone meal, and his ghost popping up every 15 seconds is getting annoying.

Sometimes, I have found Freya gets stuck in a standing pose, when she's meant to be doing something or about to say something. I found that a spartan kick actually helps her snap out of her reverie. She seems to respond well to that kind of thing, if you follow the quest. 😲

I placed my thralls in a small room with no way to exit and they still ended up missing, when I go to rescue them it says "follower cannot be found" ive lost about 7 so far. My precious Phalia the blacksmith gone, thank God I have spare, aint placing a soul until a hotfix for the hotfix
I play on 2 official servers and have lost all crafters except one.
I wont put a single crafting thrall out until they allow a an option to turn off settlements.😢
There's already an option to turn it off serverwide in the server settings. But I don't know if you don't need to be an admin for that
That option is already in-place for single-player, co-op and private server admins
Official servers should already have Living Settlements off per the post in the pinned comment, they'll come back on eventually but hopefully when they're actually fixed

It's currently disabled on official servers pending bug fixes, the post announcing such is in the pinned comment. I think a fix is in certification now so it might come out next week or so
This is the only game where I dread updates from the devs because I don't play vanilla and they always ruin the game somehow making unnecessary changes.
On the server I'm on we're just ensuring everything is disabled from thrall use, losing a named thrall isn't funny.
Question? Anyone having this issue with their Thralls or is it just me? Everytime I look inside its inventory I see fresh meat. It could be feral meat or exotic flesh or even exquisite meat. Just wondering.
If you have the Thrall pot they take out raw meat just as often as cooked
@ thank you for the information. I do have two thrall pots. One for raw food and the other for cooked. So it makes sense now.

So im on ps4 and since this daft update. I cant play.. going to my settlement/base crashes the game. Something about the thralls themself. Im on performance mode and everything. But no matter what if i go into my camp it crashes. Anyone know what i can do?
Train up and level your crafting thralls if you can. Equip them as best you can. If they can walk around, they are expected to contribute to help defending your base.

I just came back to the game after 4 years and all I get is ever server says 9999 ping and 0 players and bad lag 😢
The problem must be on your side, maybe you have something blocking the access, firewall, router, isp.

@@The_Real_Kitsune The problem is that you can see the server list but you can't access to the server datas. This needs some ports to be open in your router/firewall/isp.
the game client port is 7777 by befault, the source query port is 27015
I play on an Xbox server, and the ping is in the single digit. So yes, the problem is on your end.
I'm on ps. I get the 9999 ping showing on all servers but the game plays fine.

They should at least have the decency to turn off the timers instead of forcing me to log in and watch my thralls slowly die off.
Pickup+ fixes not being able to pick up thralls.
The game is good, but this update might have killed it. It needed a big, splashy "win" to get momentum after a slow Age of War, and this wasn't it. Out of 2 headline features for the update, Companions and Settlements, they've had to disable one. I just don't think the general audience is going to hang around any longer.
I havent even touched Conan Exiles since the AoH Release.

My game is constantly crashing. I csn hardly play, this being on single player.
I love the updates. Haven’t had a problem yet. I did have a thrall randomly die but I just went to the bar and waited for a replacement one. No idea why so many cry babies play this game. What is so difficult to getting thralls? Lol. Nothing. And I absolutely LOVE the new building pieces.

The question should be- What are you doing to cause your slaves to flee?
Options - server settings - living settlements off. Then, you can place your thralls back to the benches and they wont wander around and still get the bonuses for all benches they can work on.
I like to think of them more as “friends” 😅

My issue is that this age has only added to the problems the game is suffering from. When you compare this to the age of sorcery this is a total fail. They spent so much time and energy on something that is effectively only cosmetic and the game needs fixes and content. I really don't want to sound negative but the game peaked in age of sorcery and has been slowly going down hill ever since. I mean has Funcom once in recent memory ever asked the community what they wanted or what their biggest issues are? Because I doubt anyone would have willingly said "I want to constantly lose track of my thralls by having them wander around all over the place."
Yeah they did a survey I want to say about 3 months back and the main answer was slow down on content and focus on fixing all the bugs. Their response was basically "we're removing battle passes to free up time and slowing down the frequency of updates to focus on bug fixes and making sure future updates go more smoothly."
That went well wouldn't you say?
Again funcom management made their game unplayable... every time they want to add value, they reduce it... get rid of all the managers as a starting measure or please sell off the IPs you are abusing, funcom is worse than the tolkien estate at this point.
I think this is a problem that runs deep and wide in modern culture. Companies buy or license an IP only to siphon decades of goodwill that IP has generated while they produce a lower quality product. It's a shame.
Modders have made "living settlements" work years ago, the official company can not, will not.

@@Maghreb-Gaming The fix didn't work. I play on 2 official servers and between friday and today I have had my last thrall on each go missing. (on one server I recovered it up north, on the other it says the thrall can't be found.)
Can we have a big button at the top of the game menu to disable all new content from Funcom from not until they decide to get this game out of Beta and ready to release.

I lost one T4 alchemist to a bottom left bug and managed to save 2: one by recalling and the other by getting to 0,0 (she was luckly on the ground).
The update doesn't even work. Thralls don't leave workbenches and interact. Literally, nothing has changed in my game. Aside from that, the game needs actual content. Like a new map with a quest line.
Are you on an official server? If so, Living Settlements has been disabled pending bug fixes for the issues described in this video, as per the blog post in the pinned comment
Agreed on more permanent playable content though. Living Settlements is kinda one of those things that's probably a big internal change, but doesn't look like a lot for us
I wouldn't know I refuse to play this update! This could be the end of my Conan adventures, It's not worth the hassle anymore I'll log in once and find someone to give all my loot to then delete this game for about the 12th time!
Honestly I'm a negative nancy i see this update as nothing more then a buggy update with a few gimmick mechanics that change nothing about the game overall.
I never had any faith it would be good or even come out operating properly. The only thing i get excited for is mods these days. I use the game as a glorified character creator and base builder.

You lack the pvp perspective in your reviews. I feel like your reviews are singleplayer creative mode oriented.
I'd say more SP/PvE/RP orientated, but yeah. I burnt out on PvP long ago in Ark, and frankly it's not my cup of tea nowadays 😂
Given that, I know I likely don't have anything more than a surface-level insight on how things work on a PvP server, so I don't tend to try and share any opinion on how things might affect PvP, it's just not my wheelhouse, and I probably wouldn't grasp a lot of the experience-earned nuance
Yeah, I reckon living settlements would be a nightmare on pvp, but then again pvp players are already sadistic-masochistic so maybe they will miss these bugs when they are fixed ;)

Funcom broke their game once more. I’ve loved Conan for years, but Funcom is just driving this game into the ground. Stop developing more game breaking features. Make some pretty build sets and deco and focus on bugs and let us play the game in peace

Why did I think this time it would be different? Rhetorical. I just don't care anymore. I've been through the update where foundation pieces decayed because the parameters were changed, logged in to have all thralls disappeared because of a timer change, and banned during the last age due to a bazaar issue, along with hundreds of others. Then when purges were dropped they didn't work and FC went on holiday, even the camel mount wasn't right. Like WoW, the developer cured me of my addiction better than any 12 step program.
Funcom doesn't answer prayers, and offer no benefit.

That moment when a random dude with zero knowledge about how your game works internally can output a mod with not even a fraction of the issues a bunch of professionals can do. I almost think they hired a bunch of rookies who never did a game before to make these updates and transfered anyone with mininal knowledge to their next game.

My 5c worth, if you are buying the bazaar items at this point you are only rewarding them for failure. Boycott all ingame purchases till they fix everything, money talks. And if I am right they will fix it fast rather than lose their revenue stream for Dunes development cuz lets face it, this update is pretty lame and simplistic. Using the already existing mechanics from the fighters. placements from bartenders and animations that the NPC's have been using for ages anyway and or emotes for the "needs".
I could write both Hero quests in Pippi in a night they are so lame (and have done similar things with Pippi just for shits and giggles). The only reason they feel perhaps like large missions (i dont feel they do but maybe some players do) is the pointless 8 hour wait between stages. (well I guess i just answered why the waits there, to make the missions seem larger and therefore make it look like they spent more time on it than they actually did)
For all the talk about slowing down content to get things right and removing battlepass to give more time to fix bugs and make sure future updates go smoothly all I have to say is WOW way to EPICLY FAIL.
Just wanted to let you know I've unsubscribed since I'm disappointed to see you've become Funcom's patsy. I used to admire your actual honest opinion, but seeing you downplay how absolutely ridiculous the disappearing thralls issue is just shows you've been bought out by the Chinese too. Funcom took longer to develop their new ages, yet this happens. They released testing for months where this issue was noticed and reported, but still released it to live. It's unforgivable and I won't be giving them another dime in the bazaar.
2/3rds of this video is spent talking about that exact bug 😂 My opinion has never been bought, I say what works and what doesn't

Nice that the COMMUNITY came up with a fix, but for Funcom this is absolutely unacceptable. You were so blunt about ridiculously unimportant Pillowgate, but instead of also calling this out for what it really is, you sign up to make the Funcom sponsored video. Like the little Funcom mouthpiece you signed up to be, all you say is, "they're well aware of the issues and soon will have it fixed so we can all enjoy it togther! Woo hoo!" Shameful.
@@ArkhynHiel The way I see it, it adds zero value to just spend 10 minutes talking about how bad the bug is, it's far more useful to potentially offer a community solution and to encourage people to report their issues and help others find workarounds. People know the problems, just repeating them doesn't do anything, and I have no interest in just ragebaiting.
The Pillowgate video was deliberately blunt, given how ridiculous it was. I don't think there's any value for anyone in making jokes about people losing their hard-earned thralls
Ultimately, if you think my opinion can be bought, that's your view, incorrect as it may be. I'd rather try to provide actual potential workarounds that can help people as opposed to just repeating what everyone else already knows. You support this game way too much. I’m guessing you see some sort of compensation for it because why else would you still stick up for a company that consistently puts out bad updates and clearly doesn’t care about the health of the game. Crazy to me

I regularly make videos excoriating the game's problems, both in the paid content and the free updates. There's a distinction between liking what the features are aiming for whilst recognizing it's not working as intended
Sorry but I think it's a real stretch to keep calling it a "Needs System."
The Sims has a Needs system. If a specific Need isn't fullfilled there is a consequence.
So far Conans system is more like a bunch of idle animations that trigger when there are certain objects around.
Don't get me wrong I love the ambience it brings but to keep calling it a "System" is a little insulting. It's just short of saying your thralls now have "Advanced learning AI" as they decide where to "rest" and "eat" or "sleep."
I was really looking forward to this update. Unfortunately, it was a technical train wreck. A complete and utter failure.
