Something tells me if there was any conflict within BM, it was probably regarding musical/artistic direction. I've noticed the band's aesthetic become more sparse in later records. If anything, it's a good thing that BM is over for now. Every member is a genius in their own right and they deserve nothing more than to fully express the music they hear in their mind. This makes sense for Geordie especially, who already has a very idiosyncratic and complex command of songwriting and improvisation. This band really allows him to shine and show his appreciation for jazz specifically. Very promising project here!

I know folks are upset but these boys are way too talented to be doing noise rock/prog there whole career. I bet they felt limited in what their fan base expected them to do so by going solo it gives them the space to grow!
