  • Thousands of popular snacks and classic candies could be banned in several states due to cancer-causing chemicals in their ingredients. Some foods that risk being banned are cereals such as Lucky Charms and Froot Loops; candies including Skittles, Nerds, M&M’s and Swedish Fish; and snacks like Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and Doritos.

Fresh meat has hormones added in it. Baby cows become full grown pretty rapidly than they should because they are pumped with all kinds of stuff. Tell me why fresh veggies from your garden vs the grocery store tastes different. Again, companies use GMO products so they can create mass production to sell in grocery stores. No matter if its REAL and FRESH food, or junk food...American food is NOT healthy, but our bodies are so immune to it that we cant tell any differences. Think about this...has there ever been a time where your favorite brand of product doesnt taste right and you think your tastebuds have changed. No its not your tastebuds, its the actual food. They've gone and used something different in their ingredients. Sometimes the labels will say NEW and IMPROVED! Its not new, but the ingredients have changed and there's additional ingredients added to it. Read the labels when you shop. Notice some words you can't pronounce in the ingredients list. If it doesnt say milk, sugar, eggs...then its chemicals. People are dying faster with Cancer than they did 30+ yrs ago. More people have type 2 diabetes than ever before. There are 3 things we consume: Food, Drinks, and medications. If we can make up a batter of chocolate chip cookies, the food industry can make a "batter of cancer" in a jiffy too.

Being allergic to corn it was only natural to turn away half the aisle, but today I turn away almost everything else as well cause if it's not corn, it's food coloring dyes, if it's not dyes it's preservatives, if it's cheerios it's the freakin high risk of traces of glyphosate! Look it up, there's no winning with it, as if whenever they see a cereal is clean someone's gotta give it something that's not.

I hear her say this bill would mean-- at the very least-- the cancer-linked ingredients need to be taken out of the products (I am in Washington state by the way, one of the 5). Why would any person argue with that? Why in the world would you not want them to take out purposefully cancer causing, insanely unnecessary unless you're trying to incapacitate whatever eats it ingredients? Many Americans know these ingredients are in our food to purposefully give us cancer--look at our municipal water, everyone's 'tap water'--always at least 6 known carcinogens present at all time. I hear talk of the cost of removing 6 of the thousands of carcinogens in our water (the only 6 they acknowledge studying) and balking at that--WHY are they put into our water in the first place??? WHY don't we get to the root of the problem with all of this? It should be criminal to put this stuff in in the first place and there should be harsh accountability. I understand media goes hand in hand with the criminal activity going down in this country but do you guys realize how crazy stupid you sound when you don't want the carcinogens removed from your favorite foods?

And if food manufacturers and their suppliers are coming out with newer chemical versions of something they want to put in our foods, it should in fact be BANNED until proper testing has been done. Not a week of testing, not a few months, maybe not even a couple years.... Long extensive testing for safety. And in the long run if that whole drawn out process starts to become too costly and hits their bottom line, then maybe they won't use these fake chemical ingredients and they'll turn to more natural options that don't need manipulation. There are plenty of natural food colorants and flavor options, as well as natural preservatives. I can never understand WHY fruit punch needs to be this Crayola red. Why is Velveeta "cheese" NOT cheese, but a cheese product. Can we just have some real stuff!?
