You put "special" screw to avoid theft but with a fast opening seat (almost all bycycle have ), just by removing the seat...Pikaboost will be easily removed....
There's no way thing is having any meaningful contact with the tire just by light friction. It needs to be very heavy to be able to help push the bine wheel
Not to be a total drag, but isnt this design completely inverted. If youre just riding a rigid road bike on dead flat streets, maybe its okay, but i dont see how this would ladt more than 5 minutes on any of my bikes other than the cruiser (which I would never want to be an ebike anyway)

You can put a security bolt on the seat-tube clamp. You could also remove the seat and unit and take it with you.

There is a motor to put continuous pressure onto the tire, so the friction will always be there.
I don't see either how there is enough down force to have grip on the tire. How?
