Great catch. beautiful station.
It sure is....it received the Gold Reward for the Career Fire Station Category in the "2015 Station Design Award Awards" by Firehouse Magazine
Beautiful equipment and building.👍
Dam that's a nice station and what an awesome response
Sure is, thank you
That station is amazing!
Nice vid! Ladder 2 sounds exactly like LAFD’s 2010 KME’s
There goes a tiller truck
*whole house responds*
Fire: "why do I hear boss music and smell coffee?"
What a gorgeous station. Nice to see they use Q’s and not electronic sirens 👍🏻
Alot of departments mix the 2 actually. Check out FireRescue50's channel, he is a member of Willow Street VFD in Pennsylvania. Has lots of good content with both Q and electronic sirens.
That's one sexy looking fire hall! Great full house response video.
Yes it is....built in 2013. I was just across the street taking a few pictures of the station and hoping for a call with the new engine but right as I was taking a pic, the call came in and I finally gotten all the Station 2 rigs going out
Great video! Nice station and rigs!
This is a great video! Love the station in the beginning, one of my favorites!
Thank you...I appreciate it. Been waiting a long time to get a full house response out of this station
Could someone please tell me why in the US, Rescues turn out to structure fires? What equipment do they usually carry, and what do they offer on-scene? In the UK, Rescues, or as we usually call them, Rescue Tenders, mainly turn out to entrapments such as those associated with vehicle, train or aeroplane crashes and heavy machinery. Very rarely do you get one turn up at a fire, even huge fires. Cheers. Great video. Awesome station.
Manpower purposes plus they also have a lot tools that they can use on the truck for structure fires a lot of them also do what they RIT which is basically a firefighter become stuck they will be on standby and go and rescue the firefighter .
woah brilliant catches man, those rigs look dope!
Sweet catches!!!
Thank you
Now that was fun! Great rigs!
Awesome!
Thanks Aaron
Beautiful architecture. :)
remember the days of when the firemen would stand on the back of the engine with the harness around them
Oh Man thoses were the days!
What an awesome station and turnout!
Great catch
Thank you
SoConnFireImages you're welcome
Awesome catches
Thank you very much
Great video
Thank you very much
Probably wouldn't go home if I worked there as a firefighter
Wow, all that for an AFA. Around here where I live, dispatch only sends one engine and the battalion chief. Pretty neat to see how other places go about responses for things. Great catch!
NFD usually send just an Engine and Truck to all AFA's, but since this is a high occupancy building with over 8000 kids, they send half a box
Nice station indeed!!
all in unison 1:30
Nicest fire station I think I’ve ever seen
NICE station!
Hiw come they never show you the trucks gettingvyo the scene they show them leaving the fire house but never to the scene
They need a bigger firehouse. Does it have a indoor pool?
They could have put all city government in a building that size.
Jason Stark I live in that city. That's station number 2. Its fairly new, it was built no more than 5 years ago I think. The old station 2 is directly across the bridge on the other side of the highway literally no more than 300 feet away but now that one is used as a training facility and where they store extra engines and trucks
there should be a traffic light, not good to pull out of that driveway hoping the cars stop quickly
There is a traffic light that they can stop but it takes a few seconds and the chief ran right out the door
ty
Busy house?
That's some station. Isn't it a a modern one as well, only built recently?
Yes, It was built in 2013....they have their own training center behind the bays where they can set the ladder up to these mock windows and use them also for bail out training. There is also a simulated manhole cover for technical rescues and mock rooms for primary searched. If you are on facebook you should check out Norwalk Fire Department Truck 2 page. They have tons of pictures on there
Thanks for the extra information. It's great to see a modern building, especially a fire station. made to look lovely, yet practical.
Did the Call at the High school turnout to be a false alarm?
It did....faulty alarm. Went off the next day when I was at school there
Ужас, зил 131 еще на прогреве стоял бы
This is the one you can see from 95?
