    On popular demand, super excited to share with you a day in my like A.K.A day in the life of a dermatology resident! It's my final year of residency and has been a hell of a ride. I take you along to experience firsthand what it's like being a dermatology resident in India! This vlog is a random day of my final year in residency!
    It's been a long time coming, but I'm so excited to finally get started on documenting life as a doctor and bringing y'all along with me! :) Thank you for being here, I'm so grateful for you!!

    I like this branch but just want to know how much dermatologists earn in private hospitals in tier 1 cities after gaining 2 to 3 years of experience and job opportunities in this field.

    do all first year derma residents have to do work very vaguely related to what they have to do in the future? I mean I m doing only dressing... and writing medicine referals. ... there's no case which is of dermatological significance.. I'm really concerned. will I be able to learn at all?

    Roughly what were the working hours as a R1, R2 and R3 ?
    Planning to do it post marriage.

      Approximately,
      R1: 12-14 hours (more than that on on call days)
      R2 and R3: 8 hours

      Depends on workload, at our institute which is a tertiary care centre in Mumbai, on an avg 8-12 hrs

    Thank u for this video doc..I'm going into first year residency of derma but the case load in our hosp is much low..what can i do at this point of time so that i can deal with patients and diagnose them after residency? How will be life after residency

    mam..please please reply one question...can a student of md pediatrics can prepare for upsc cse..means can a student of md pedeatrics can get 3- 4 hrs for study apart from studying my own subject..do the student doing md has to study as much as during mbbs life...

      In the first year you may not have that much time but I believe from second year onwards you can spare some time to do both.
