    To me it sounds like His wife Is not committed to rebuilding the marriage. It sounds to me Like she wants Time to Engage with her affair partner. If she was truly Devoted to Repairing the marriage She would dedicate Every minute of her spare time To doing so But she's not

    I would also say that maybe he should work through his severe judgement of the affair partner. He used the word reprehensible several times. It may be triggering her shame to such a degree that she cannot help but feel the severe judgement is directed at her. I could not be intimate with someone who saw me that way.
