note on thelonite hermit, the trigger when you flip it does use the stack. flipping it does not. so people can respond before the trigger resolves. Doesn't make a difference very often, but as someone who played a lot of morph, it is ann important detail

I'm thinking Shroofus Sproutsire is a trap, but he could be useful in the 99, particularly with Pennon Blade or Coat of Arms. Be aware, however, that if you use Beastmaster Ascension, you've got a case of the winmores.
@@station-7 If you use Beastmaster Ascension with Shroofus Sproutsire, you already have at least 36 (and likely at least 42) power total, hence why the ability becomes winmore.

Ruxa, Patient Professor can make all saprolings assigned combat damage as if not blocked, absolutely amazing for Shroofus!
Brightcap Badger is a pretty new card that would be great in this deck and Nightsoil could provide some on theme graveyard hate.

Don’t put too many saps in your deck. Buff the commander with combat tricks and a few supportive spells or enchantments.
I used to have a tana ravos deck deck that was oops all anthems, this might be the monogreen reincarnation
