Last Saturday night I went to Bui Vien Street and as a solo traveling guy it was a disappointment. I didn't see any ''crazy Saigon nightlife'' just groups of locals and a few backpackers sitting down and drinking beer. No action at all (except a handful of a-gogo bargirls doing their dances).
I have a pretty strong stomach, but I sometimes get concerned with street food. I've heard that the general rule is to eat at the busiest places. That way, they're clearing food fast, and it's not sitting. I almost wrote _busty_ instead of _busiest_ . Yes, it's great to find a food stall with busty women, too.
Whoa, going thru the entire video and the entire list, only 2 I missed on my last 2 trips back in May and most recently in August are Bui Vien Street and Book Street. Need to visit these 2 when I am back in early October for sure. Stay cheerful bud!
There are literally hundreds upon hundreds of these street food areas in the city, and we would love to learn all about them. Personally, I appreciate you vlogging about these spots, since it's so hard to find them through google.
Gotta agree with you Chris…food tastes better up north in Hanoi. However I am ultra excited to be in VN at the end of this year. Counting the days my friend! 👍🏻
I just have to tell you I get hundreds off at Saigon Square. I was just there and they started at 800k on a fake Northface backpack. I got it for 200k. It’s an excellent fake. I get everything there and I get it all very cheap
You and I are the opposite. I love snails and don't like chicken feet. Thank you for the video. I will definitely check out the street food market place.
Can you operate in Vietnam with cash and credit cards? Philippines was a gigantic headache because everyone used gcash some places and most places exclusively gcash and I could never get that. Damn thing to work
Smashed the like button. Love street food. Sure hope there will always be street food to be found. Absolutely love crab. Must try at number 1 hands down the World Famous Bui Vien. Number 2 would be Japantown. Ladybars maybe. Outstanding from the moment it started until the very end.
I’ve been watching your videos for a long time, I think I’ve seen them all over the last year and a half or so. This is your best video yet. Excellent information, right to the point. Great job buddy!!!
I visited in August and I personally did not like Bui Vien at all ): Extremely loud and all the workers are nagging you to go to their restaurant. I went to Zion and Banana rama for rooftop bars and were MUCH better. Thanks for the great video (:
@@fatandbroke Yeah we have gone a couple times, theres a club we really like. Still, it makes me sad seeing the kid beggers, but we try and give as much as we can.
Samsung and poor customer service go hand in hand I am afraid, seems that this is world wide in Poland there is talk of a class action against them too

Great video and very helpful. I will be in Saigon early January.

Thanks for this man. I am in Saigon for a couple of days and I found this really helpful.
Where can we find the address of these places?
Very good video. Your efforts are visible. Appreciated 👍🏼
Glad seeing a foreigner appreciating our food and enjoying our lifestyle!
Always!
You mentioned LiveU Solo being outdated? Isn’t it still on the most reliable streaming bonders out there?

Where is this food place? It is helpful if you can tell the viewers the address. Thanks
It’s Ho Thi Ky street in District 10.
Absolutely Awesome Video Chris
Good point about finding a good toilet in the city when the need arises. My favourite is in Takashimaya, wonderful toilets 😂
Best/safest/freshest food is from crowded stalls - but never open a stall, yesterday's left overs!
For Chinese food head to ChoLon.
I love your videos. Can't wait to get there in November. Any good ideas with 3 children aged 14, 10 and 9?
Also I saw your vlog on orphan's, any ideas of what I can bring from Australia to give to children?
There are theme parks on phu quoc and hoi an . Kids will like that
Water parks in saigon as well
Hey Chris, just subbed. Heading to Vietnam in March, thanks for the informative content!
Thanks for the sub!
@Doug Jones Amazing, first time? What dates are you there for?
@Doug Jones Ah, sorry to hear about your loss. I’ll be leaving a day after you arrive. It’ll be my first trip there too. Enjoy

Great job with the video, very informative! safe travels
Thanks, you too!
Great video for newbies to VN. I know this video took you more time and effort to put out but it was very informative. Good job!
Thanks!

Do you have to have been vaccinated to visit Saigon?
Thank you for sharing. I'll be visiting VN at the end of the year.
Thanks for this video!
Glad it was helpful!
Hey brother,
How far is district 10 from hcm airport ?
You and I are the opposite. I love snails and don't like chicken feet. Thank you for the video. I will definitely check out the street food market place.
Really digging these walking tours! Are you running a discord channel?
Shoutout from the airport smoking lounge girl 🍻

In Saigon , Hanoi and da nang should be ok
Keep it up, boss!
Surprised J-Town wasn’t on your top 5 list….
lol where’s the description of the locations
In subtitles on each location
Tyty i am blind lol
I think I’ll pass on the chickens feet but this is great content
Grilled chicken feet are great, so tasty, and so good with a few beers
yep fire imo
Great info, can you list the address of the #1 street food?
it's been a while i watched your videos; BTW: both the post office and Catherdral were designed and built by the french in the 19th century
I highly recommend just drinking caphe and diet coke or zero 😆

Hi Fat And Broke I am new subscriber . l really like your channel . Cris Travels recommended your channel .
No offense but how do you never in any of ur vlogs get your camera swiped....it happened to me... in broad daylight
Good point.
Maybe it depends on what part of Saigon your in?
@@punsized2296 happened to me where he was filming..bui vien
@@jaredtheboss Oh.
I know it happened to my wife once with her phone. I don't remember where in Saigon it was though.
i use a full rig on a gimbal there is no phone being used at all.
@@fatandbroke how is that not swiped out of your hand though ever

100k for a drink is expensive. I guess because you are in the centre.
Is all the meat fried???
Very well done
You'd look far better without those weird mutton chops laddie
My first breakfast will be bahn xeo and com tam 👌 + caphe
Do you get diarrhea eating some of the foods?
Very well done video Chris, a little more currency conversion rates for us here at stateside
👍👍
Great work crist .
Wassup
I found Bui Vien kinda sad :( The hustle is real in Vietnam and it seems like people and kids (sadly) will do anything to get a little money.
Definitely not for everyone, but should still check it out, it's unique for sure
