Its because you didn't have connect your gmail in supercell that's why it won't give code

@Greg Spencer bro I have same problem but in Gmail I m not getting the code so says that - You tried to login to Clash of Clans with your Supercell ID account. However, you need to progress a bit further in the game to connect and save your progress with Supercell ID.
This Supercell ID does not have Clash of Clans connected to it yet. If you logged in to load previously saved game progress, it is not here. Maybe you have another Supercell ID account you could try?

If anyone is having problems with getting the verification code. Look in all your folders of your email. I looked in my junk folder and it was in there. It can also be in spam as well.

Step one:delete the game and re-download
Step two: create a new supercell ID with a new email.
Step three: resend the code to your current email that belongs to.
