Alot of that is just British banter, its almost an indirect compliment to how great peter was, I’m sure kasper knew walking the same road as his iconic father was never going to be easy, but he stuck with it and eventually achieved great things for himself.
Kasper is doing as well as his father on the national team. 8 clean sheets in a row in the World cup qualifiers. A semifinal at the Euros. On top in the nations league. Off course with the help of defenders
what a weird transfer lol, he could honestly be a good gk for any mid table club but going to the french league for a team that doesn’t even compete is very odd
Also a major reason could be that Leicester is quite broken atm considering king power’s main business is airport duty free and that industry had not done well in the past two years
@Eoin F for a goalkeeper who is naturally fit and been relatively injury free, 35 years old is young! But he was also part of a woeful backline last season conceding many goals from set pieces! A change might suit all, all round
Being a striker is way harder than being a good goalkeeper. If his kid plays football he will be bang average at best. The kid has the most famous father in sports history which is mega rich and he won't want to sweat for his paycheck. He will most likely become a model.
Boring because it's always asked.. Peter was lucky to be bought by United at the right time.. If he had gone to any other club when he moved would everyone think he was so good?
He actually started out as a striker, he didn't switch to goalkeeping till he was in his teenage years, when he realized he didn't really have the speed and such to ever be a good striker.
It wasn't. He had to drop down divisions and work his way up to the highest level. 'Not as good as his dad' was like an albatross around his neck for many years.
@@TommyT_ Mate, I listen to interviews.of English players and it doesn't take a linguistic expert to know that 99% are working class. The only player that sounds like he came from a wealthy family is Patrick Bamford and even they weren't filthy rich.
Peter has won multiple premier leagues but the one Kasper won will be talked about for generations
Aye but big Pete won the treble that will also be talked about for generations
Very well put! The treble is undeniably iconic but the Leicester premier league title is legendary
What a horrible thing for people to say to Kasper... "you're good but not as good as your dad"...
Who the hell are they to say that?
This really is the main reason why Kasper was underrated for so long and had to work extra hard to prove himself to be a world class keeper.
It's the same with Nigel clough with his father Brian Clough.

I don’t think he hears you Johnny

He’s a great Goal keeper from a Man City fan he’s good at Leicester
He used to play for city :)
Strange transfer but we all know the cycling Goalkeeper is coming in to replace him!
Lol 😂
Cycling gk
lol 😂
@@declanwatson9284 bro what's so funny?
Can’t see Leicester signing a 40 year old tbh
If Renato Sanches joins PSG, can you post a video of him passing a ball to the billboard during his time at Swansea City?
They heard you and delivered.
Петер Шмайхель - величайший кипер.
Каспером можно смело гордиться, ни всем быть как их родители!
He is joining Nice who already have his 'Danish friend' and namesake dolberg.

I think it’s more about living in nice than playing for nice
Living in Leicester vs living in Nice...tough choice 😂

Is that Gomes next to him?
All I’m saying is if he played for England it would of been him instead of Pickford
It’s a hard enough achievement making it as a professional let alone winning a premier league title and he did it in style
That's not how your dad used to do it...💀💀💀
Any other goalkeeper in the world would be over the moon to even be in the same conversation as peter schmiechel
Kasper's career is worth a book on its own terms, if his name were Smith it would still be the case.
Well he wasnt doing as good as his expectations so he would of been good for a mid table club like burnley or westham.
He is amazing in his own right. Carry on!
Theres a thing going about on FB, Peter Schmeichels son leaves for nice, its obviously a toungue in cheek dig at this interview.
Least humble nepo baby

His time as goalkeeper in running out. He is not as good as he was ...
Don't worry no comparison
Is it me or does he look like Bjorn from the show Vikings
Imagine Cristiano Ronaldo Jr if he goes pro

Boring to him coz he knows his Dad was a much better Keeper
Well obviously
Wow possibly the best keeper ever in the prem was a better keeper than him mental
No, Kasper is world class just like his father

Very few benefits? Do me a favour seriously.

No benefits my arse. You wouldn't be a goalkeeper or a footballer because of your father
The French league is crap , Nice will probably win the league now Schmeichel has joined them.
Not a fan of kasper, only time i hear him is when he’s moaning about something
Dude should say thanks to his Dad for putting him on the path to be great. He wouldn't have gotten there without him most likely.
Yet he became a goalkeeper.... what did he expect?
Maybe he did expect it. Doesn't mean he can't find it boring.
Lol what's wrong with you

Wrong platform, mate. Seriously, how dumb does football twitter have to be that it starts leaking on RUclips of all places.
Weirdo.
