These videos really make the album more exciting to listen to. Love how well thought out this whole thing is and super curious what the next album/ EP will be
woah.. as a transgender man this hits home in a bit of a funny way. Not 100%, dont worry, but just the little bits and pieces, especially the mother caring only about whats between Kungans legs and her wanting him to be a girl. The bit where you talked about societies impact also hits close to home.
I am really loving this album so far. Thank you for saving this year with good music

I had this pretty decent conversation with this guy in the comment section for the song, mostly about the ganzfeld effect, because i saw strong inspiration from that study in your music video, we had a few comments back n forth, and i guess it ended about here,
I would like to hear what you think about the thoughts i compiled about L.E.D, mostly interpretating on the video content.
Heres a copy of the comment i made on the actual video.
"I took another look at the video,
and the lyrics this time around. There is absolutely no way I think its
accidental, it would be nice to hear Justin’s thoughts about it though.
Throughout most of the video he is
wearing the ping pong balls and headphones, which obviously is strongly related
to the ganzfeld effect. On top of this, we often see him sitting completely
immobile in a chair, with a TV displaying odd scenery/glitches/white noise,
which could be linked to the ganzfeld effect.
The whole point of the ganzfeld
experiment is to deprive a person’s perception and outside stimulus, to alter
the state of mind, ultimately leading to hallucinations.
My understanding of the lyrics and the description here on RUclips, even
though I am terrible at interpreting lyrics, be it books, political articles,
or poetry.
At first, based just solely on my own interpretation of the song lyrics I
thought it was about a girlfriend in an abusive relationship, possibly by
manipulation and cheating (based on the fact that she is turning into a mattress
- had to google this one, not American) and her constant harassment in the form
of saying he is a disappointment and nothing else, that no one could be better
than him.
it appears, based on the description of this video, that I was not too
far off. The entire album appears to be about an overprotective mother pushes
her son to the edge of insanity through psychological and physical abuse.
When looking at from the perspective of the overprotective mother, pushing
him to the edge, it could be interpreted as the mother is the ganzfeld effect,
depriving him of his own life perception, leading him to feeling deprived and
ultimately altering his state of consciousness because of the traumatic
experiences through abuse, leading to sleep deprivation, depression or psychosis,
which all would exponentially increase his altered state of mind.
… Yeah man, it has to be that.
