Love your instructions ❤ thanks for sharing
Absolutely talented . Great color combination. The confetti is gorgeous. Just a note about using gloves from a nurse. If you used latex gloves to put on the confetti and someone had a severe latex reaction not only could that be deadly but that would ruin the wedding. Just a little thought. Thank you for sharing and keep on caking 💜
Thank you;) I usually stick with frequent hand washing because I feel like there is a false sense of cleanliness when wearing gloves. They get contaminated just like our hands. Good to know about the latex:)
Love It ...❤❤

Hi Mary! Beautiful cakes as usual! How do you get your cakes to stick to the turntable without the cake moving around when you ice? Mine always seem to move around...
I put some non slip mat under the cake.
Beautiful, as usual. Question: With all those dowels in the bottom tier, I always wonder, doesn't that ruin the number of pieces of cake you end up getting out of it? Seems like it makes part of the cake unusable. How do you compensate or get around that?
Honestly I have never had anyone say anything about it, so I am assuming it doesn't really seem to make a difference:)
Beautiful cake! I have a question though. When making a cake this size for an event (such as this wedding), do you assemble it at home and deliver it whole or do you assemble it at the event? Considering it's size and weight.
I personally would deliver the bottom 2 tiers assembled and the top added at the event. I have the supports already in place and deliver everything chilled with a special insulated boxes. That way, I can put the top on without marking it up.
I wonder if you could use the gelatine sheets whole, as a wrap. Have you tried something like that, maybe?
I have not;) 🤔🤔
American butter cream
So to make this edible glitter you need gelatin and just luster dust, spread on acetate sheet to air dry. What was the bottle you used?
Can you give the recipe of the edible glitter. Your video was not clear.
Are you asking about the steamer I used to add a little moisture to the buttercream with? If so, that is just a clothing steamer. I just followed the directions on the gelatin package and added as much luster dust as needed. There really isn't a measurement for that, but I would say one small container would be just fine. About 2.5 grams.
