You might wonder why weaker players worry about things like this. It's because we don't spend much time playing in tournaments where your opponent is random. Instead we play our friends, the same players week after week, month after month. If you play something and it works then next week or next month they'll have looked it up in a book. If there is a gap in your knowledge like this, then that's what you'll get in every game from then on till you die of old age or till you find something better to play, because almost all your opponents are either the guys you normally play or else guys who sometimes look over to see what's happening on other boards including yours.
Thanks indeed for nice lecture.
U have a talent for teaching chess!!!
Thank U!!
Your Chessable course is great. Whatever the opposite of "buyer's remorse" is, that's what I'm feeling.
Thank you very much!! Your words would make a wonderful 5- star review.
Best regards!!

When I started playing, back in the 80s, a chesscclub was something pretty close to what you've just described!
