When Opp play Glimpse: “2 mana do nothing”
When Grapplr plays Glimpse: “2 mana draw two”
It makes sense. GrappLr doesn't know what the opponents hand is, it could be anything, and Grapp needs to play around every possible card. As long as the opponent isn't at literally 1 card, grapps playstyle shouldn't change. Draw is a resource that Grapp uses correctly in that statement
Same, I’m normally not worried when my opponent plays a whispered words or a deep med, because I’m still playing around the same cards. To me, my opponent now has less mana that turn which lets me do more. Similar to what the other guy said, the only exception is when my opponent has very few cards and it’s late into the game, since at that point the difference is much greater
@@xavierburval4128 So by your logic, then Grapplr is doing a “2 mana do nothing” because that just gives his opp more to do. So the contradiction still stands in that case. The fact of the matter is that draw is a powerful resource. While it make give you “more to do” in your current round, not acknowledging that it makes your opponent stronger for the upcoming rounds, and hell possibly stronger for the same round, is foolish.

This doesn't hold water though. If you know your opp doesn't have a specific card based on how they're playing, you should always be wary of draw effects. A draw 2 into regular round start draw gives you a fairly significant chance to find the answer you need if its a 3-of.
@@SirDubbs the difference between opponent drawing and me drawing is that when I draw, I know exactly how my hand changes, and I get more information about what I can do. When my opponent draws, I still don’t know if they have a ruination, fervor, rally, etc, so I still have to play assuming they have those cards. It doesn’t change how I play at all because I’m always assuming worst case scenario, and that’s the same regardless of whether they have 6 cards or 9. Again, if my opponent was out of cards previously and then draws, it’s different because now I have to play around substantially more cards. But in normal rounds, I only care about how much mana my opponent has, since that dictates the worst case scenario.

If opponent 1 blocked with Jarvan instead of the Spawn1 Give Overwhelm and then on the next attack blocked with anything but the Tentacle they would have had like 100+ damage across 6 overwhelm bodies twice lol.

I am running a different version without Viego (atm) and instead with 3 elise. It also uses Arena Bookie for drawing all combopieces :)

@@alfredoaguilar6561 Well as long as you are not playing against Ionia or Viego it kind of is. Against these two you'll have to a) be lucky with the combo or b) be lucky with them not outscaling you through healings and stats.

It's Legion Deserter, and no, he doesn't. He get stats for every buff, not for every ally affected by the buff.
