You should be OK I thought the same way you are thinking so I did the 18 days with them because of the computer and tablet but I would’ve been OK with the 4 days only I came in with experience I was working for a local company prior Schneider
I worked for them and they train really well. They are big on safety; that is a good thing. They will evaluate your driving skills and train you their way and doctrine. I'm prior military and worked for them and I have nothing negative to say about the company.

Usually you will get them at the orientation but if you’re working at Schneider you could get them at the OC the terminals or you could even ask one of the drivers you’ll probably give you one they keep them in the trucks so if you see a Schneider driver it is possible they will give it to you sorry I didn’t answer you earlier thanks for watching the videos and comment

Hey 👋 Juan I already left Schneider, mainly because of the pay ( CPM ) there was other things that were manageable. What they promise you on a dedicated account that you want your going to do or get payed . I was at .48 cpm I did good but I was running hard. I know I could do better I do have a couple of videos that I will be posting soon . They are a good company to work for but it all depends where you live . I liked switching to manual and selecting my gear before starting the drop. Freight auto was nice when you got used to it but Volvo was much smoother when I tried it.
That is a yes. You want to be on duty while moving in the yard. Lets say if you move in the yard off duty you would have to drive below at 5 mph as far as I can remember.

This is your best video. Too bad you can’t film like this. Schneider is still not a bad company. You had your cdl before, are able to drive standard with your license? These companies restrict you to automatic when they train you and it limits your options when you get a job or buy a truck.

After gaining some tanker experience, I went over to Slay transportation they have in my opinion more freedom, more options
They keep what they promises on dedícate routes

As a company driver I did almost 3 years am still here as a lease purchase driver ( owner operator ) !!
