Screening guidelines used to be for 50 and above years old. It was reduced to 45 last year.
Though there are notable cases of below 45’s, it still doesn’t warrant changing the screening to again lower than 45 years old.
We simply have to be very vigilant and go see a doctor if we have concerns and something doesn’t really feel right....
abdominal pain, blood in stool, weight loss.

But that's not true. The recommended age now is 50 but what's so jacked up is they know that this disease is highest in more prevalent in Black men the problem is getting the insurance companies to understand this. Another issue is it's crazy that they do the testing by the time they get the test they're already a stage 3 stage 4 so then the age needs to change.
