I heard about his passing but didn’t really know much about the man, it wasn’t until watching and listening to this that I have begun to know the depth of loss his death had on the world. He was truly wise and articulate. Talk about a role model. Rest In Peace!!!
reason is that those who are in power and gave him his start were the very people who killed him. they say he died of cancer which I feel is false only commoners die of such diseases.He was not he was part of a organization he thought was prestigious and black yet they were no actually the opposite.
I’m white male in my 60’s and thought this man glowed enlightenment He was evolved. I have two friends both colon cancer survivers and black under 40 and also both very special human beings ( as we all are) when I heard of chadwicks death from something so close to home it really shook me. It should not shock it’s extremely prevalent among black YOUNG males but rarely discussed . Chadwick saw it as personal issue which was his choice and right .
Their was something about him you did not need to be black to feel most know him from black panther but he made other epics ( ie a message from the king ) where he through his talent portrayed a really important message consistently . That message well that’s yours to find . A great loss but a spirit like his does not just fade into the abiss . Awards trophies get dusty his memory will be fresh forever .

I've watched this video twice: once about six months ago and then again this evening. The first time I watched it, I heard it and enjoyed it, but not deeply. I'm an older white woman nearing my 60th birthday this year... I've heard many many inspiring speeches made by very inspirational men in my lifetime. But somehow his speech meant more to me than the others. Not because God called him back home but because his words meant something deeply profound in my life as well as his own. What he shared here was a gift...a gift of encouragement and wisdom beyond his 43 years on earth. I admire those who can climb the hill to rise above adversity... to overcome the obstacles others layout to ensnare you, to hinder you from achieving your goals in life... but more importantly those we set for ourselves which is something I've done for most of my life. I could never see that light... Chadwich Boseman just lit the flame for me...He was an intelligent young man that took his life to places and heights most of us may never go all because he believed he could... he knew he could. His is the first speech I truly listened to... I didn't just hear his words, I listened to him. I'm very sad that he's gone home again. But he's left behind a part of himself that contains his spirit and love for life. God Bless him and may he Rest in eternal Peace in God's Kingdom.
