It was great to see Mark after all these years. Thanks, Mark, for all you have done in support of our military.
I have lived in Michigan all my life 63 yrs. After the Beatles I came across G.F. n man I fell in love! Mark Farmer was my reason why I turned lead guitarist n singer n I even learned some of their songs like I'm your captain n Heart Breaker Were an American Band! Love ya Mark Farner! I pray 🙏 for a reunion b4 its not possible! ✌🏽
Wonderful interview. All the highpoints covered in a nutshell. They merit a spot in the Rock n Roll hall of fame.
Mr. Farner is an incredible legend, his music is timeless!
Great interview- first band I started following and buying their albums. Love Grand Funk and I enjoyed listening to Mark’s stories of the pasture. 😉😁
Yessss!!!! TYVM Backstage Pass!!!!
I loved Grand Funk’s first three albums. Mark Farner taught me how to play guitar along with Tony Iommi on Black Sabbath’s first two albums and especially Eric Clapton on Wheels of Fire. Get these and you’ll have a career, if you want it.
Thank you Mark! The Red album convinced me to be a guitarist instead of a drummer. I even bought a Messenger back in '74 for 200 bucks. Still rockin' and playing all these years later. Now in a cover band in central Florida playing throughout the area. Rock on Lounge Lyzrds!
My very first concert was Grand Funk RR at Public Auditorium in Cleveland, 1970. Unforgettable.
I felt like I was part of that intimate conversation... in MarKs garage... My hero !
Merry Christmas🏥☦️🇺🇲🪖❤️🔥🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
You know people I had a friend at one time that totally pissed me off over this song when I told him Mark prayed for this song and got it through God!
He used Richard Pryors heart attack joke where he said, Richard Pryor saying the angels said I will have to put you on hold!
I'm sorry but my guitar hero was on 100 percent!
He got that song just from praying!
do it SOBER
Backstage pass and I gave the keys to the City to my dead resurrected mother-in-law
I'm sure Led Zeppelin got to be the greatest rock band ever but couldn't follow the Grand Funk act. Mark Farner must still be smoking a whole lotta weed to think that.
Greatest rock band? The Rolling Stones have that title.
He NEVER said they were better...their energy was different. Saw them both in concert a few times and that is true.
