I actually felt as if I was there and walking on that old paved road. The way you film is really thoughtful. I feel like I’m there and seeing probably more in the comfort of my home than if I was there walking . It would be impossible to see at the angles and depth at witch you film . I’m so grateful for that and appreciate you. A magical journey . Seeing the statues of the Emperor’s up close was amazing . I will probably never get there in this life time but that’s ok . Blessings to you always 🦋
I was in Rome many times when I was stationed in Paris. My friend Giovanni Migliozi took me there. Rome is beautiful and the Italian people just great.
Thank you for posting information per site instead of audio; this method proved very helpful with less distractions. Am grateful for the tour my old bones could not have made it possible. God bless..
Thank you for a great walking tour of beautiful Rome! And also has a "rusticana" i.e. beautiful countryside! Far more crowded than when I was there in 1969 and even more expensive though it was even expensive back then! I have lots of great photos that I took that I cherish to this day! Arrivederci bella Roma! ♥🍷
Hail Rome immortal with saints and martyrs living there. Beautiful and iconic. I feel like being among the crowd, as I just came back from Venice and Vienna old cities. Thanks for posting this video.
Hi my favourite YT another great video in my favourite city in the world. Keep up the wonderful work you do capturing the sounds and sights with information and precision. See you soon Roma bellissima 🇮🇹🙏❤️
Thank you so much for this..Because of mobility problems I will never visit Rome in my lifetime, so this video is so appreciated. Such wonderful sights and you filmed it beautifully..❤
I used to be a tourist in my younger years. Watching the crowds while enjoying your video makes me feel like I am there! Thanks for the captions to tell us what we are seeing. I was last there when I was 10. Am 78 now so was reliving my exciting youth!
Thank you for this fabulous video. I have been to Rome in the past but it was very very hot and crowded, so I enjoyed watching this from the comfort of my own home. Now that we are older I don’t think we would have the energy or health to do it again.Thank you 🙏
so many people make walking videos for YT, you are definately one of the better ones....really appreciated your camera work, good pace, and nice steady pans to zoom in on interesting details. Thank you ! Best tour of Rome I've seen.
This city is absolutely beautiful I get very emotional when seeing the sights thank-you for sharing. I've only visited once but will NEVER forget my time there, and how much I saw and believe you me we had a very hectic time to see as much as possible .
@@AmazingWalkingTour The last time I was in Rome was in 1966. I've never been to the Mamertine prison. My favourite spot in Rome was the Trevi Fountain. The first time I saw it as a teenager, it was magical for me. I still remember the time that | went to see the movie "Three Coins in a Fountain" in gorgeous Technicolour, in the late 1950s, and Frank Sinatra singing the signature tune "Three Coins in a Fountain, each one seeking love in the heart of Rome." The time of "la dolce vita" on Via Veneto.
How magnificent the architecture & statues are. Thank you for bring me for a walk through Rome City. There are even Statues on the building tops! I’d definitely have binoculars with me for a tour such as this , to be able to see more detail in the architecture

I am delighted to see this. I wanted to visit the prison and didn't get to. So thank you. I adored the mimes and you caught one on camera! So cool. They fascinated me. Beautiful church. Wonderful video. ❤🥰
An incredible history lesson up close and personal. Although much of our ancient past history can not be trusted . In my opinion, History needs to be re-written and truth be told . Again I thank you 🦋
This larger than life city, the records of St. Peter, St. Paul. the lives both men had lead, and even in death the 2 men shown great power and strength. Thank you for sharing this story.
Breathtaking. I could never take that walk as a pedestrian tourist.this video is 40 minutes and if I were there it would have taken 5 times longer to stop and read and gaze. Please make the videos just a little shorter. My eyes glazed over at the grandeur. Being awed is exhausting. Subscribed!!!!
Great that you put the data up on the screen- time of day, date, air temperature etc. It helps to understand what it was really like and not just the picture
Good job taking and sharing this video. I have been to Rome for business travel and I didn't have the chance to visit many beautiful places there. I am watching your video from USA. Thank you!.
Frankly, I've never understood this belief that one can only travel to Europe in summer. Of course you're going to be there with every Tom, Dick, or Harry who had the same idea. Not to brag, but when my parents wanted to travel, they hauled my sister and I out of school and we went. November, February, or April, it didn't matter. The tourists had gone home. The tourist shops were closed. Local residents were a lot more accepting of us because we were on our own. We didn't wait for hours in line to see the Mona Lisa or the Crown Jewels or St. Peters. Most Americans travel for 10 days to 2 weeks. Your kids will not fail their SATs if you take them out of school in the 5th grade. Leave the game boy at home. Leave your cell phone in your pocket. Stay away from McDonalds etc. See one big thing each day and try one new food too.
The trevi is regularly on here ,for those who have somehow missed it .The Capitoline is incredible, and shouldn't be missed , for those of us with more discerning tastes.
IMO, the Roman Empire was just amazing. Builders, politicians, philosophers, warriors. Way ahead of other civilizations for that time. Egypt is a close second.

How in the heck can you have a civilization for as long as the Romans have had and only have five good emperors? The best one, in my opinion, was the first holy Roman Emperor, Charlemagne the great!
