Hi Sue I make a lot of stuff with my Cricut. You can use baby wipes to clean your Matt. Also painters tape can be used on the edges of your material to hold it down on the Matt so it does not slide. Thanks for the video!
The mat is easily cleaned in the sink with hot soapy water and a scrub brush. Once air dried it us just as sticky as when it was new. Having all those fabric threads on it reduces its stickiness.
So I have imported an Applique Monogram from my Hatch software into SVG and the cutting files looks great . HOWEVER when I place it into Cricut Maker it does not cut the inside of A, B P or any font with a center. Cuts the inside pieces separate so I guess I am suppose to hand cut those???? They show up on the Canvas page & the inside pieces are there separate. I do see a rectangle over the letters when I hover over those pieces in the layer column. Any help or a place for a video to help. Found this when googling for help... hard to figure exactly how to word for help but at Least I found this video. THX for any guidance. I bought the Cricut to just to cut fabric for applique monograms. No where in my research did I find this obstacle or would not have invested.... Already was a shock to find out I can't convert purchased applique patterns to SVG in Hatch....that wasn't in the "fine print" either. Always such a learning curve with new software..... so few places to find help. I have enjoyed many of your videos. THX!
you can try doing a trace so you can eliminate the inside parts of the letters. you can upload and then trace it. Try using a JPG or PNG for the trace.
This is an incredibly advanced method and you explained it so nicely. Thank you

So how do you know what the perfect size is,is there a standard measurement that add to the appliqué that you get with the pattern?
how do you keep the blade sharp? or is it a buy a new one kinda thing?
Will this blade work with the Explore Air 2? Thank you!
No this blade only works with the maker.
I couldn’t see what butter no you were pushing
