    I hope the US never fires Greg Berhalter. What a treat (for everyone who isn't the USA).

    Anyone know what hospital Tajon is in right now in Dallas? My family wants to send him flowers... My goodness, a tibia fracture is major... Our thoughts and prayers are with Tajon and his mother at this time... My heart feels really heavy. I can't even finish watching this episode. I'm feeling just terrible that this happened. It's so important not to be overly aggressive and physical on other teammates during training/ practice, although I do understand the desire to compete and impress the team's coaching brass. Inter Milan will be asking Jesse Marsch some hard hitting questions in the next day or two... God bless Tajon, the CMNT, and Inter Milan...

      Inter is going to be fuming. It takes a year to come back from Tibia surgery, to be back at his elite level. I can’t believe they are just brushing over this news. It’s devastating to be Canada and Inter.

    KJ hit the nail on the head. The issue with the US fans is that they think they are a much bigger soccer power than they actually are so their expectations are much higher than they should probably be.

    I'm not an American sympathizer BUT Weah getting red carded pretty much ruined their chances. Specially when the Referee on the 3rd game was the worst I have seen! It was so bad! Literally have no clue to officiate.
    Speaking of Officiating, EURO is officiated so effectively. While Copa America is a Joke! Bombito should have been red carded, we got really lucky and lets be honest here, we probably would not have gotten out of our group! Matches should not be decided by who is refereeing.

    Shame we never really saw the best of Buchanan this tournament. Get well and impress upon your return.
    The Brazil/Columbia match felt like you were watching someone play Fifa on Playstation.
    KJ has a very high bar on what makes a World Class player. The CPL will not have produced that player in 20 years.

    • @jrcanuck1
      @jrcanuck1 2 месяца назад

      arvisconte, CPL is purposely a new development league. From there, players will go on to play in either the MLS or Europe & then you will eventually see some world class players who will have started out in the CPL.

    • @arvisconti
      @arvisconti 2 месяца назад

      @@jrcanuck1 I agree, but MLS is the same thing. MLS is a developmental league as well. That is why they emphasis has been on academies and younger DP's for years. There are may on the current US squad who have passed through the MLS system which shows that it is working to create international level players.

    • @jrcanuck1
      @jrcanuck1 2 месяца назад +6

      Zeeqayum, you are yet another American who over values their players.
      Yes, David, who just turned 24 in January, was 2nd in goals in the French Ligue 1 behind Mbappe, who is probably the best player in the world. David has been around the top of that league in scoring for multiple years, plus he is known for being an outstanding defensive forward.
      David is currently being seriously sought after by multiple teams in the Premier & Spanish leagues.
      Pulisic, who will be 26 in September, often struggled & sometimes didn't even start for Chelsea for 3 years.
      He finally had a pretty good season at AC Milan this past year.
      So yeah, there is no question that Pulisic has not yet established himself as a consistent world class player & obviously David has. But you keep drinking the Kool-aid being served to you by U.S. media & podcasts and you will keep getting disappointed.
