I cant believe it has been 30 years since Doggy Style. Those discs are gorgeous! I had planned on jumping on that Gram Parsons, but never did. I'll bet on your 2nd listen youll love it.

I must say I am grateful for the various Gene Loves Jezebel releases that have been coming out recently. I would love to see reissues of Kiss Of Life and House of Dolls. I just picked up the new album and it’s fantastic. Sorry you didn’t have a positive experience with Bauhaus Staircase. It was one of my favorite releases last year but I will agree English Electric is top tier. Always enjoy your videos. Keep ‘em coming.
Thanks Steve! I'm going to keep trying with Bauhaus Staircase. I have an OMD video planned in the upcoming months. Kiss of Life and House of Dolls were often floating around in the used bins in the past, hopefully their new label will get those reissued.

Hi Andy. The "Past Night from Glasgow" label has been reissuing the back catalog over the last couple of years: Cake in 2023, Weightlifting / Happy Pocket in 2022 and I've Seen Everything in 2021.

Man I’m so glad I found your channel last month. I subscribed immediately. You talk about so many good bands that I also was into in the 89’s-90 s. I mean seriously, where else would I find someone talking about The Darling Buds! Keep up the good work! I know theres a lot of time consuming effort involved for little return but we love it! Great records Bret! I immediately ordered a couple things shown or mentioned here thanks to you. The Darling Buds cd box set, ordered. I had their cds back in the day but only have them digitally now. Also I have been looking for a vinyl copy of Erotica for years, and now I have it pre-ordered. Thanks!

Where do you order your Music On Vinyl preorders and newest releases if I may ask?
Hi Arthur. For the new MOV releases - sometimes I grab them at a local shop, as the one I go to tends to order most of the ones that I'm interested in. As far as online goes, I find that Popmarket often has pre-orders for all of them. I've used Amazon before, but I've had one or two get cancelled, or the shipping date gets bumped by weeks. If you have a favorite local store, perhaps check with them.
