Non sense question by interviewer and non sense answer by candidate. Spending time with friends is good. In yr answer it clears that you are not spending any time with friends in yr spare time, that means you are a non social person. You are only involved in your work then in photography, reading books and batminton. Now a days if interviewers asks these time of questions then it means they are only making the question list longer. These are irrelevant questions. In my spare time i am sleeping or playing video games or i am roaming here and there, that's totally fine.

They want hire human. Or robot..don't follow her...she gives very irritating examples it seems she want to make fake professional person instead of simple and good professionals
BTW, there is nothing wrong in spending time with friends, it helps in improving overall lifestyle, communication , positive outlook to life.
