Music has an effect on people. Music brings back memories. If you listened to a song with your dad a lot growing up and your dad died, when that song came back on, it'd remind you of your dad. You still have to choose the ones you think will work best together and also turn them into a song that sounds good and listenable, above all else. Not every element of a composition can be taken from a sample pack, he still had to program some things himself. But of course, you wouldn't get that.
