While it is undeniable that Pythor did eat all the others, I don't think he "enjoyed" doing it. In season 4, it's shown and stated that he still has a great sense of honor for his species and was not pleased in the slightest of Chen turning himself and his cult into fake anacondrai. He didn't help the Ninja because he wanted to be good, he helped them because he wanted to respect his ancestors and their legacy. He even states "a true anacondrai would never stand for this, I am a true anacondrai." When the spirits of the anacondrai generals come to thank Lloyd, they also say that Pythor had made his ancestors proud and even turned him big again. They probably wouldn't have done that if they knew Pythor had the sole intention of leading his own species to extinction. He only did it to survive. While the other serpentine tombs were in locations where there could be somewhat of life, food, or water, the anacondrai tomb was located in the desert, where there was no other signs of abundance of life. Pythor probably learned to like the taste of other serpentine and started to even get creative with what he could make out of them but he most likely never had any evil intention in it. Remember, snakes in real life do the the same thing when put in that kind of situation. Pythor had a plan to get his revenge on humanity, but in order to do so he would have to make sure that he lived long enough for it to happen. So he made the ultimate decision and sacrifice to make sure his plans wouldn't fail which probably lead him to hate humanity even more by the time Lloyd freed him. He devoured his own kind including his own mother so he could one day devour humanity. Pythor isn't evil, he's just insane.
I’m more concerned about the fact that the elemental masters accounted for all of those Serpentien, but no one seemed to care about how Clouse and Chen where inhabiting a giant Anacondadrai snake with no supervision.
I don't think he ate the others solely by the greed since I thought it was canon that he tried to change his ways after season 4 and live peacefully in Ninjago city. However, his insanity didn't go away and that's why he has continued his path as an enemy of the ninja in Dotd and Crystalized. I feel like that part of Pythor's insanity came from the trauma of needing to consume others and also from the empty loneliness that followed it. If he did it all because of greed for power, I find it hard to believe he'd have suddenly tried to change his ways after season 4.
If this was true, then that explains why Pythor and the Overlord get along so well. They were just born bad. Or maybe I'm thinking too deep into this. I mean, regardless, Pythor does believe in honor for his tribe, as shown in Season 4. He hates Chen because fake Ancondrai is tasteless to him. No pun intended. Lol.

My theory is all the tribes were given the same amount of food, and because of the anacondrai bodies being bigger and need more food. Or the other tribes found food sources like rats or small ground creatures, but the anacondrai didn’t.
The Anacondri were in a much small tomb then the rest, all the others were actually under ground where Rodents and plants could grow, but the Anacondri were in what seemed to be above ground in a cave that didn’t go any lower then the entrance. So ya I think the Anacondri were just screwed from the beginning 😂.
If the Elemental Masters did purposely seal the Anacondrai away without food in hopes they would starve, perhaps it was Acronix and Krux's idea to do so.
“This tomb ain’t big enough for the 2 of us” -Pythor “There’s over 50 of us” other anocondrai “Still” “Where are you going with this?” *Pythors stomach rumbles* “Sure, Chum”
He looks out of place compared to the other anacondrai…I hear people saying that Vangelis killed his wife/Vanias mother that’s why she is missing, I don’t think so I don’t think Vangelis was that cruel but I think she left Vania in Shintaro because she knew about how evil Vangelis was and she knew if she would’ve took Vania out of Shintaro he would’ve been after the both of them so she abandoned Vania and left Shintaro for both her and Vanias Safety… maybe they’ll have something like amber spiral for Vania looking for her Mother…but unlike Skylor since there is no chance of Vania being on the ninja team in her story they should have her mother appear
Serpentine are known to be easily manipulated (that's why they had so much leaders), they don't seem to be smart too, Serpentine are actually good creatures, the Anacondrai seemed to be very respectful and fought with honor, and the general seemed to be honorable and even went to court with Mystake, Garmadon, and Wu, the Serpentine are good parents too, Skales is a good father, and all of them reformed after Lord Garmadon's influence, Pythor is the only cunning serpentine, no doubt that he will eat them all for his selfish needs, but Pythor is also not pure evil too, and he made his ancestors proud. Serpentine are good people who got mistreated. Snakes also eat each other in real life when put in a situation where they are hungry and cannot eat, the humans didn't put food in the Anacondrai's tomb in purpose because of how dangerous they really are, and the other tomb had plants and rats and animals who live underground, and Anacondrai probably need for food to survive, Anacondrais are stated to have huge apitites, that is why they can eat humans whole. Pythor is insane, not evil, he was traumatized for eating his own.
It's possible that the slightly more evil elemental masters locked the annacondrie in the tomb without food behind wu, garmadon, and the better elemental masters backs.
Some stone warriors killed each other via helmet confusion, the snakes outside of the anacondri did so in the remaining years which makes sense for their small population. Garmadon killed some oni, Asphera did, the great devourer did, Chen pushed multiple humans into their deaths, as shown in multiple scenes, etc. I have proven my poiny
The story of the Anacondri, and Pythor specifically, is incredibly tragic... and even confusing in some places. One question I still grapple with is why was the Anacondri Trible so structually different than the others, with essentially 6 generals (7 including Pythor), and with the entire tribe having tails. With Pythor having the staff and the superior/most drastically different build it'd technically make him the "biological" general. With how much respect he had for his people I don't think he enjoyed being forced to eat them, and it seems the experience had actually truamatized Pythor tremensly, to the point he freaks out at sudden physical contact and doesn't like being touched - likely a traumatic trigger from when everyone began to eat one another in their tomb. Pythor even recalls talking fondly of his mother, which makes it even more terrible he likely lost her in the cannibalistic chaos that occured in the tomb. And at the end, Pythor was left alone in there for who knows how long after everyone else was eaten, which just by being alone so long would be truamatic by itself, but also on top of that being the truama of being forced to watch everyone you know and even love get eaten, and then to even eat people you know/love yourself just to stay alive. Pythor is probably the most understandable and tragic villain, cause compiling all of this you can really understand why he wants revenge and why he is the way he is. And in a way, a lot of his ambitions as a villain were completely justified. It's at least understandable why he went insane... forced to cannibalize your own people, and potentially even your own mother, just so try and survive.
In my mind it is possible, however unlikely that the anacondri did not all die out. They knew that both the people and other serpentine hated them, and so they could have possibly stayed invisible when lloyd opened the tomb, and the rest of them, not wanting conflict escaped and lived a peacful life unknown to the rest of the people in ninjago while pythor, as there leader, took the responsibility of faking the tribes death. Who knows, they could have escaped there prison yeats ago, and pythor stayed behind to make sure people wouldnt be suspicious
Another theory on why the Anacondrai starved do death was maybe, just maybe they were given food, but Pythor hoarded it all to be in charge of the food to become the new leader and only gave food to some Anacondrai, and left the others to die, like a 'Only one can remain' thing, or something like that, its a possibility
I don’t think it’s fair to say the anacondrai are the only cannibals just because it was never shown/stated with other tribes. I mean cmon some tombs are larger than others and how were the elemental alliance gonna get that much food for multiple years for multiple tribes no less. And you could argue they started farms inside the tombs but that’s unlikely without sunlight plus the differing conditions. I don’t want to just leave a comment that argues for the sake of arguing so here’s my theory/interpretation All the tribes committed cannibalism but some handled it better than others. The hypnobrai for example have a slither pit arena and Likely used it for both entertainment and for deciding who gets eaten. As for how this relates to the anacondrai it’s important to know that we have no idea who pythor was during the war I mean he could have just been a basic soldier for all we know. Further more the anacondrai being the most powerful and aggressive tribe probably just began eating each other relentlessly. Pythor likely using his brain rather than brawn simply stayed hidden and allowed the others to tear each other apart. As for his mom, we’ll perhaps she let pythor eat her for his own survival. Morbid I know but what if that’s the soul reason pythor went mad
One thing, Pythor is obviously the general of the tribe (Arcturus wasn’t the real general in term of a leadership of the tribe but in term of leading the serpentine army, something similar to Pythor as the Snake king few decades later) so the thing about him waiting for Arcturus to get out off his way so he can be the biggest and strongest Anacondrai doesn’t make any sense. It’s clear from his design (Arcturus although with armor, different color of eyes and with that fancy gem design on his head was still just a normal Anacondrai warrior like every other) so he was already the strongest of the tribe (and the strongest serpentine). It does make me wonder what his role was in the war when he obviously wasn’t one of the main leaders (like Arcturus and those other Anacondrai “generals”).
That's dark, Pythor ate the other Anacondrai snakes and his own mother so he could be the only one left. What happened to Pythor's father? What happened to Vania's mother? What happened to Kalmaar's mother? What happened to Akita and Kataru's parents? What happened to Skylor's mother?
I doubt Skylor and Vania even knew their mothers. As for Akita and Kataru, they were likely frozen along with the rest of the Formlings during Zane's rule as the Ice Emperor and are likely still alive or died because time moves differently. As for Pythor's father, who knows? It could've been one of the Anacondrai Generals who were banished to the Cursed Realm. As for Kalmaar, he also probably never knew her.
Orrr, hear me out, maybe they didn't have any food because they were in the middle of the goddamn desert? all the other tribes lived where there was life, but the desert is dry and life is unsustainable, and there is very little water
That pretty dark makes me think of how the big one killed the weaker raptors keeping the strongest alive in Jurassic park plus wonder if his mother ever loved him after hearing how evil he is🤔
I don't really prefer the second theory cuz of Season 4, which showed us Pythor's arc about how he still feels honor for his race and how he's mad about fake-Anacondrai's. nothing but only this fact could ever make Pythor on the Ninjas' side in the ENTIRE show. I don't think that this kind of personality would eat his own race just because he wanted
It is possible that the fangpyre resorted to cannibalism because Fangtom does mention to Lloyd that they were low in numbers. ( they could also have just turned all the food into snakes)
Maybe because of how the Anacondrai thought-Only One Can Remain-that it was a Strongest Survive situation, so some fought, others just let themselves waste away, and Pythor just bided his time and ate when he could. Also I'm sure desert creatures could slip through any cracks in the tomb or under the sand, and they probably ate those for a time too.
Hey here's a fun video idea. Can you do a video of figuring out the Stats of each Ninja. Like we're they rank in Power,Strength, Agility ,Combat or intelligence.
I always thought this was more like neanderthals or prehistoric giants in real life, the strongest and smartest species require too much sustinance, and go extinct in a crisis.
1:15 "uhh you guys seem to really like cannibalism sooo that's kinda concerning" You have nothing to worry about Tanner. You wanna come over to my house? (Just in case you could not tell, this was a joke)
That’s creepy I mean I know there’s some people do that and believe me I still will ever find that creepy but I feel like you were like it. I feel good mastication to all of us because I for one find eating the same species, disturbing disgusting, and against what our great masters have decided for us all.
To be honest, I personally think Pythor was actually the leader of the Anacondrai, I mean, why else would he be escorted last? And I think the reason why Pythor neck is longer than most of his kind, is because it could be injury, this can with snakes in real life
When exactly did Pythor say the Anacondrai were cannibals? He did only mention that they starved, implying him beeing the only cannibal right away or am I missing something here?
The anocodri were put in the tome in the dessert so that they had less to eat and would become weaker, not starve to death just become weaker, but they most likely ate all of the food and then resorted to eating each other, python probly being one of the strongest survived till the modern day which could also help fuel his hatred for people, cause his anger is far greater than any pf the others, and that could because he knew that they were put in the tome with little food on purpose which to him meant, the elemental masters and humans were responsible for the death of his kind
I don’t think that element alliance would just leave them there to die they must have some short of food with them the Anacondrai were dangerous but I think it because they had a good leader without a leader they may have turn to peaceful way and Pythor may have just not like the other so he ate he ate them all I like to see a what of video of what if the Anacondrai were not eaten
Tanner I found an image on devinart What I found was shocking pythor didn’t eat them much stronger Anacondrai that is similar to pythor appearance but this could be an Anacondrai general that was forgotten and was locked i before everyone else that took over the food chain .because the top of the food chain eating other anacondrai and Pythor’s mother because of some of devinart description “I lost my mother to my general” by pythor saying But if pythor ate his mom but he wouldn’t do that But the general would eat them but pythor would hid from him that’s the monster but after a month he would resort to eat pythor but would die because he could have been eaten by the anacondrai serpent or a large serpent ( not fire fang or wojira not even the great devour) this make sense because at the corridor of elders episode the is a 7th Anacondrai general in there he would go to the cursed realm because of his act in the picture of part two of the event pythor doesn’t want to kill him so there was a 7th anacondrai general that was never thought of lego because it would make ninjago terrifying
Let's review Pythor's backstory: He and his tribe were trapped in a tomb by the citizens of Ninjago at the end of the Serpentine War. After many years of isolation, Pythor goes insane, and in a desperate act, he kills and eats his own kind to survive starvation. He acts indifferent to his actions (as seen when Lloyd sets him free), but deep down, he feels regret for consuming his companions. In an act of revenge, he plans to release the Great Devourer to consume the citizens of Ninjago (a symbolic revenge against them, reflecting how he was consumed by hatred for having to devour his own people in order to survive and venge them). However, in the end, he pays the price by being eaten by the Great Devourer. To atone for his actions, he later releases the Anacondrai generals from the Cursed Realm to repay his debt and restore his honor as a true Anacondrai. Ultimately, his cannibalism carried a tragic undertone.
I don’t think this is right because in my opinion Pythor is the weakest anacondri ,the army showed more speed, strength, durability Pythor is just coward but he is genius
While it is undeniable that Pythor did eat all the others, I don't think he "enjoyed" doing it.
Amazing job
pythor aint an animal,HE IS COMPLETELY WILD
While anacondas do eat other snakes so it makes sense that the anacondrai would eat their own kind and other snakes.
I always thought this was more like neanderthals or prehistoric giants in real life, the strongest and smartest species require too much sustinance, and go extinct in a crisis.
How did Pythor defeat the others
He's the tallest snake
@@sonicspeedproductions2.04but he’s easily outnumbered
How can he tell genders they all look alike except for Scales Jr's mom
1:15 "uhh you guys seem to really like cannibalism sooo that's kinda concerning" You have nothing to worry about Tanner. You wanna come over to my house?
(Just in case you could not tell, this was a joke)
Or is it?
I really want the anacondri race to thrive again I really do
Unless Cloud Kingdom says so there won't be anymore
That’s creepy I mean I know there’s some people do that and believe me I still will ever find that creepy but I feel like you were like it. I feel good mastication to all of us because I for one find eating the same species, disturbing disgusting, and against what our great masters have decided for us all.
To be honest, I personally think Pythor was actually the leader of the Anacondrai, I mean, why else would he be escorted last? And I think the reason why Pythor neck is longer than most of his kind, is because it could be injury, this can with snakes in real life
When exactly did Pythor say the Anacondrai were cannibals? He did only mention that they starved, implying him beeing the only cannibal right away or am I missing something here?
ithink pythor might be mix of that big snake cluse hade and normal anacondrai
The anocodri were put in the tome in the dessert so that they had less to eat and would become weaker, not starve to death just become weaker, but they most likely ate all of the food and then resorted to eating each other, python probly being one of the strongest survived till the modern day which could also help fuel his hatred for people, cause his anger is far greater than any pf the others, and that could because he knew that they were put in the tome with little food on purpose which to him meant, the elemental masters and humans were responsible for the death of his kind
GREAT TANNERFISHES LEGO NINJAGO 💙🩵💜💖
I don’t think that element alliance would just leave them there to die they must have some short of food with them the Anacondrai were dangerous but I think it because they had a good leader without a leader they may have turn to peaceful way and Pythor may have just not like the other so he ate he ate them all I like to see a what of video of what if the Anacondrai were not eaten
Hello I love your channel!
Can you make a video on how many times each ninja died (TECHNICALLY) ?
Tanner I found an image on devinart
What I found was shocking pythor didn’t eat them much stronger Anacondrai that is similar to pythor appearance but this could be an Anacondrai general that was forgotten and was locked i before everyone else that took over the food chain .because the top of the food chain eating other anacondrai and Pythor’s mother because of some of devinart description
“I lost my mother to my general” by pythor saying
But if pythor ate his mom but he wouldn’t do that
But the general would eat them but pythor would hid from him that’s the monster but after a month he would resort to eat pythor but would die because he could have been eaten by the anacondrai serpent or a large serpent ( not fire fang or wojira not even the great devour) this make sense because at the corridor of elders episode the is a 7th Anacondrai general in there he would go to the cursed realm because of his act in the picture of part two of the event pythor doesn’t want to kill him so there was a 7th anacondrai general that was never thought of lego because it would make ninjago terrifying
I think pythor eating his fellow members was dumb because they were really powerful and the ninja couldn’t stop one alone making pythor pretty dumb
he did it to live
Python eat too much stuff
Pythor have eat them
I haven’t seen the video but I don’t think the scenes from RUclips, right?
How many purple creatures will kill the perants
So his body count is how many 🤣🤣🤣
Maybe pythor would resurrect his tribe in the future
If the realms merged together doesn’t that mean the departed realm so they will prob be in season 3 of dragons rising
Is the heat his own mother
Why is pythons neck so long
Damn 🥶🥶
I don’t think this is right because in my opinion Pythor is the weakest anacondri ,the army showed more speed, strength, durability
Pythor is just coward but he is genius
wonder if the anacondrai are smart maybe someone got into hiding a new clan what's revenge on Pythor.
Fr
لقد نسيتو شيئا الانكوندراي لديهم قدره الاختفاء كيف لم يتمكنو من اختراق القبر الذين حبسو داخله🎉
turn invisable isnt the same as that
Nice bruv
Interesting
Why didnt all the snakes team up against pythor
Exactly
