How RUclips Compresses EXABYTES of Video Развлечения
kinda crazy that RUclips functions as well as it does
Very interesting video, loved it! Maybe you could cover how Discord stores all their messages?
@CodingWithLewis already covered that though
@@Westsi And believe it or not probably 50 other people have also talked about it, what is your point
@@couch9416 there is already a good video on it. Most of the other ones are bad
conaticus explains shit in a few minutes while other youtubers take up from 10 to 20 minutes
@@_DarkLiquid but they go into more depth
Or they can use the crystals from Star Gate or Star Trek, to store/present the raw data. BTW, Great video!
Awesome video! As usual ❤
I'm not sure if youtube uses AV1 much right now as not many GPUs support it. E.g. If i look in 'stats for nerds' it says I'm on VP9, even while watching this in 1080p
ah yeah looks like they're experimenting with it for now, thanks for this!
You can set it as preferred in Settings
@@SomeRandomPiggo oh cool
You really don't need gpu support for decoding. av1 decoding has become very efficient on cpu, so you can basically do it on any machine nowadays. Most TVs take advantage of it too, especially if you consume content from Netflix for example.
You only need hardware accelerated encoding, since av1 takes forever to encode a video.
This video is gonna hit 10M+!!!!
Awesome video
Can you make a tier list on all of the languages you use because your the only person I watch on yt
big brain conaticus at it again
not as big as yours
Nice video :)
Banger
What is the outro song called?
Can we just appreciate the fact that con finally doesn't use javascript in this video?
lol
bruh
Damn proprietary codecs. Open Media ftw
hey conaticus , i loved your file explorer video and i subbed then,
I got a interesting code problem and I cannot seem to solve it , how would one convert doc file ( with table like forms with 47 pages of questions , more than 300 questions ) to a html form and back to the format it was started without messing the css or the style.
my idea was to convert into json and somehow add sometemplating mechanism but it cannot put the data from html into word :(
help plz
Is word necessary ? (they have an awful private format, if you can just run away from this hell)
@@kaporos I share your fear & concerns tooo . The source file is in word , we can convert into pdf ( but that doesn't sound like a upgrade)
would pdf work?
Wow Chopin 1:30
all relevant lossy video codecs do this since the 2000's. youtube didn't invent it, google just made a more efficient codec with VP9 but the general techniques are the same. and every other video platform also uses a codec like VP9, AV1 or HEVC.
wow
What about netflix?
W video
Okay storage is cheap and cpu isnt but they still thought it was worth it… thats weird but i dont know their costs so yeah
Gavin Belson likes this video
lossy compression is great
