I remember my brother and I racing to the music store like 20 years ago to get this CD. When this song came on…….we went ape shit! We kept listening to that riff over and over. Great job . You got a gift man 😎
Great job! Amazed by the tone you're getting. I believe I read in earlier clips you only use computer based amps? Really curious how you always achieve the great end results. Also the les paul you're using. What brand brand may that be, and did you swap out certain components?
Thanks man. Yeah, 100% plugins (except for the cry baby and rotovibe). It's pretty much layering of different amps. About the guitar, it's a Chinese brand, Strinberg, really cheap guitar. I put some gotoh hardware and changed the bridge pickup, it's a brazilian copy of the JB.
@@YuriFabrim Thanks for the info! Lately I'm really focussed about recreating Jerry's tone... Basicly I'm a stray guy(the single coil ones). Thinking of getting a kramer baretta special(the cheap one😅) to make my own G&L Rampage clone. I'm not into the daw/computer route, but the options you have like stacking amps and such is great. Looking for a BE-OD clone kit to achieve the hot rod Marshall tone. Thanks again for the info mate!
@@KROLSKI Go for the BE-OD, I use it for me live sound. It's a little more expensive but worth every cent man. I tried a couple of clones before the original but they're not as good as the real one. You should get a noise gate too, cause it's noisy hahahaha
Great cover! This song is amazing but the guitars in the original mix make it difficult to hear exactly what he’s playing. It would be awesome to see Jerry play this live on his next solo album or at an AIC show and understand exactly how he plays it.
Thanks man. I don't know, I think the rhythm guitar pretty understandable, but the mix for the leads really sucks. You can find some audios of him playing it live, but he does not play the same way.
Yuri Fabrim I totally agree. The chorus is mixed pretty low against the drums and I still have no idea how to play it. I’m thinking it’s around the lines of 0-0-3-0-0-5-0-3-0-0-3-0-0-5-0-3-0-0-3-0-0-5-0-3-0-0-3-0-0-3-5-3 repeat.
@@lanemcdonough5565 well, i think i'm playing it right, i listened the live version and seems about right. I'm playing something like this 0-0-4s6-0-0-4s6-0-4s6-0-0-3s5-0-0-3s5-0-3s5-0-0-1s3-0-0-1s3-0-1s3-0-0-1s3-0-0-3-5-6 (the last 3 notes has some variations according to the chorus)
hey just a question, have you ever tried covering castaway? from my experience it feels like i could pull it off on a 7 string standard tuning guitar. it just feels the most right to me and it sounds the most sensical
Hey man killer covers! I wanted to reach out and ask if it was ok if I used them as instrumentals for some aic covers. I will of course credit you in the description as the person who originally did them. Thanks brothers and nice work again🤘

"awwww yeah my old man wonders where I'm at!"
I can hear Layne singing those back up vocal from Nowhere
3rd favorite Jerry song.
Which ones are the 1st and 2nd?
Yuri Fabrim #1 favorite is Pig Charmer. #2 is Anger Rising
Heaviest riff Jerry ever wrote.
Died is the heaviest riff he ever wrote.
Died isn't his heaviest riff but probably his best riff. His heaviest riff is either Spiderbite or A looking in view.
Dimebag would have liked this.
Nah them bones and a looking in view are definitely heavier, this riff rules tho
This is a closer runner up to Sludge Factory
One of my first Degradation Trip loves, amazing stuff.
Just wow man...great tone as always...I love this song...what a riff and you KILLED it man.
Thanks Rich \m/
You should do Siddartha!! 😁 btw you’re amazing, Jerry’d be proud :)
I'll do, eventually 😂
Awesome! Perfection....
Thanks a lot 🤘
Awesome
Hoping your going to do bargain basement..
It's already done, I'll release it soon :)
Awesome.
Super heavy man great tone 👍
This is so awesome!
You fuckin´nailed it again!

@@YuriFabrim haha, I was afraid you would suggest that. Thanks for the advice😎
@@YuriFabrim goes to show you don't need an expensive guitar. If it plays well, and have some good sounding pups the rest is just in your head
Wow, great job man, absolutely killed it!
great cover. Love this song.
Bloody brilliant as always! \m/
Thanks dude 🤘🤘

Yuri Fabrim For this song I think accuracy doesn’t matter too much because most things just sounds badass in Drop C.
Parabéns de novo.
YES!!
this is so heavy, hope you get around to doing setting sun from dcs dark night metal soundtrack sometime
Oh yeah, great song. Already on my list 🤘
@@YuriFabrim awesome! im excited :)
well performed mate congrats. so many melodies and changes in the song rythm. this could be considered as progressive grunge :D
