Love your reviews man! Been lurking in the shadows for about 6 months now, but I'm just going to come out and say that I love how down-to-Earth your reviews are, without any nonsense. Keep up the great work!

Agreed! Nice to have reviews (and reviewers) that aren't loads of bs, just honest content.

@@coloaten6682 Like I was literally unable to find reviews of guitar or bass virtual instruments that were as thorough as these. If you've got any leads then please let me know, but if you don't that's fine too, cause I get to stick with this channel.

@@minionslayer TBH buddy I don't know of many at all. This is the best channel for guitars, I think. The only other one I really like is the Trilian one with Greg Phillinganes. There are a few of those, well worth watching!

I would like to disagree since I own both the Tele and the Les Paul. I think this is a terrific instrument. A big part that was missing from the review was the pattern mode which opens up all kinds chordal possibilities plus having more patterns per preset. You can create so many great chord progressions by using the engine to add sus, 7ths, and 9ths into the mix. Really makes your progressions better than the usual boring ones. There are a number of great sounding presets. and if you own both vst's, you can copy something you created in the Tele and put it in a Les Paul track and vice versa and create awesome doubled sounds..powerful sounds. I think the articulations could be improved on both instruments, and I wish they would offer up lots of articulations tied to key velocities. I also think they should throw in a wah pedal...I;m using the wah from the Studio One pedalboard and it works great especially w. the Tele...I would have preferred a Strat, but can see why they did a Tele and the cleans are pristine. Thats what I think w. thanks to Rubin for the review. The Native Instruments official walkthrough is worth a watch/listen.

Great point. Looking back, I should have spent more time on that than the melody mode, since this is primarily a pattern instrument. I’m coming from a perspective of a keyboardist. NI is putting out more playable instruments, so I was reviewing it from that perspective. Not my best review, in retrospect. Thank you for the feedback.

I agree, the pattern mode is essential! I use them A LOT! But, the tone of both electric guitars us so beautiful

@@hifimidi It's no worries. Nice of you to respond and there was nothing wrong w. your review. . Im not a keyboardist..I;m a frustrated newer electric guitar player and percussionist who can now make music it would have taken me years to make on a 'real guitar'. I wish Native would develop instruments like this via upgrade..they seem to make stuff and then abandon. if they would just make more articulations available and improve the ones they have, this one and the sunburst Deluxe would be incredible. BTW you can do hammers if you switch from poly mode to mono, but there is a learning curve to make that sound right IMO. oh.....and if they made it mpe, it would be perfect for guitar

Electric Vintage (melody) is it possible to use the pattern mode only from the midi keyboard?
It doesn't work in piano roll

Yes you can if you have kontakt or kontakt player (which is free) and this (paid for) vst from Native Instruments
