While this was going on in February of 2020 Covid was only identified officially exactly a month earlier to the day, AND the US didn't handle pandemic national, internationally or locally well.
Democracy is a cult-faith where many actually believe giving power to others always has consequence which can be tolerably managed by the managers. The data of global warming now is lining up with Guy McPherson's presentation humans will be extinct by 2026 & everyone is saturated with Trump news. All you need is a chart of the arctic sea ice volumes.
@@Stupidityindex the Ottoman empire had similar problems except they weren't a democracy. There was a technocratic class that ran things for the autocrats. Even Saddam in Iraq managed to collect the garbage when he was in power but there was a bureaucratic class that made that happen. My biochemist friend who passed on recently told me 15 years ago that the global warming issue had already crossed the line. She would have said McPherson was an optimist. I don't think we're going to be able to get off coal, gas or oil anytime soon either. Nuclear has a myriad of problem as we all know. The neoliberal is unable to address any of it in either democracies or autocratic states although it is all addressable.
Who is better occupier for the hegemon / empire ? Ofc neocons and neolibs
