Not BuyingIt that is true, but he was ask to go solo from the very beginning in there early prime. But Tresvant decided to stay loyal , while Bobby ended up leaving anyways . Look at what Bobby became going solo. Even Bobby himself said on the tension interview back in day that he thought Tresvant should have went solo . Only problem with Tresvant was that he didn't have the charisma as he was a little shy, but he did have the look . Bobby stage presence was very unique at the time .
olivier toussaint I agree. But New Edition, as a collective made all of them. They all brought something unique to the table. Basically, it's a story worth telling, because they all made their own mark. But the NE tag, elevated all of them.
olivier toussaint been a loyal life long fan. From being a teenager who found his modern day motown music, from parents who played the old 50-60s Motown at dinner and family gatherings. Luckily with their resurgence, my young nieces and nephews are finding and liking old beats... Likable. Traditions passed down. For that I thank all 6 men of New Edition.
bobby did backup bcus thats his brother/friend , And if ralph helped bob before great it seems to be their relationship, So in other words fuck ur fun fact
Annie Lee everyone heard the story but people throw in there own remix. one not one person said he was getting high. not one,he was 19. At that age he could get high and work. more importantly if you know Bobby's voice he's clearly on EVERY VERSE! what they said was they blended their voices which I get. Ralph's voice like Bobby's is distinctive if he sang lead on any verse it would be no secret! and like the person who checked you said they were Bros for real. bobby could've got a studio singer for background vocals and Ralph could've got anyone to background dance. The movie had certain inaccuracies, one ralph didn't want bobby kicked out. and two bobby was wayyyyyyy bigger than new edition. he one every award. AMA,billboard, soul train, best Dance! Lastly his second album flopped. La Reid just did an article saying bobby crushed them twice and walked away.
These guys were my era and I remember this like it was yesterday. The younger generation doesn’t realize how big Bobby and Ralph were back in the 80’s and 90’s. Without groups like them there wouldn’t be a Chris Brown or Usher. They paved the way for many…miss those days! 🙏🏽❤️👍🏽

Ralph can rap better than all these new mumble rappers.
Trill Troy, for sure, Rizzo is multi-talented, sing, dance, rap and act
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiid
Alma Sasser bobby,ronnie,mike and johnny
these are just the facts !
I love the rnb rap combination.. The thing is how do u define real rap. I guess. The ignant kats today consider mumble rap real rap. Not !
Very Underrated RnB artist. Too bad he got overshadowed by Bobby Brown's solo career .
olivier toussaint true fans stood by all the solo acts and bbd. They are all equals, and sadly, that is what some in their group fail to understand.
Not BuyingIt yes sir . You know your stuff !
olivier toussaint been a loyal life long fan.
This proves that Rizz and Bobby were always the closest.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
best memories
Geah
Love this! Classic 90's R&B! Also, it was nice to see Bobby backing up Ralph in the video.
That dude was dancing
He look so good in that white i would have slam dunked his ass back then
That's the least Bobby's doped up behind should have done
This song is legendary!!!
wow he was the biggest dude in the world 13 mill sold and showed up to dance backup for his brother! real shit!
You know Bob show up and show out when the cameras rolling. Any camera!😂
kokolatte825 true that. he was getting busy
cultfigure 40 great point.
bobby did backup bcus thats his brother/friend , And if ralph helped bob before great it seems to be their relationship, So in other words fuck ur fun fact
Ralph is beautiful. goodness
Absolutely. Just a gorgeous man. Genetic lottery won for sure.
Yes.yay! Chocolate
He sure is. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 God took his time on him.
Swear I never saw this version after all these years. Such a surprise seeing Bobby come thru as a backup dancer for Ralph. Always loved how they stayed friends even after he left N.E. They were sooo cute in this video. Those were the days. Miss the 90's. 😔
First time seeing this long version with Bobby Brown dancin'
Ralph Tresvant is very handsome and talented!! A BEAUTIFUL voice!!
Drislady
Truth!
Been listening to this song for decades
After this part airs from the movie this video's views will be WAY UP
The New Edition Story was VERY NICELY done! I'm still proud to have had their poster on the wall. Love The Guys!!
I wished Ralph would've got more shine as a solo artist.
The 90'S and 80'S was the Shittttt
Started in the late 60s..and 70s best of all time..mike Jackson..james brown..etc
YES IT WAS.
Yes it was it will be nothing like the 80s and 90s again

I actually dig this remix as I do the original. I also remember when Ralph's solo albums came out-He and Jimmy and Terry was KILLIN' IT!!!!
+chj2 For me it's not as good as the original, but its still a Slammin remix
+1974cfjl Funny thing is always loved the remix more than the original. However, I was always a fan of both.
+Andre Webber One thing we can both agree both mixes is AWESOME!!.
It's crazy how he never had to over extend his vocal abilities on this track yet it has remained a classic for decade's
Can’t overextend a voice you don’t have
@@thetruthandnothingbutthetr6484 You really need to review more songs on this album or some of those other NE joints, 96-04.
@@branfordmonticello853 as a new edition fan I bought that album - it was trash . The sales also reflect it was trash and bought mostly by new edition fans. The lack of the ability to headline a tour also shows it was trash . Unlike you i don’t bring emotions into assessments…I’m able to like a person and still retain honesty.
Ralph was goodlooking, I remember I had this cassette tape, I loved this song.
Who all saw Bobby dancing in the end😍😋😘
He's definitely underrated No doubt
Bobby Brown is so cold he killed it LOL.
classic 90's allday i miss this era of music, style, and way of living.
My favorite member of New Edition. Love his voice
This is real R&B music Ralph Tresvant should have made it really big in the industry nice voice suppose he was not marketed correctly. We can still jam this today is still not outdated at all way better than some of this weird music today!
He should let people nowadays realize what is the true kick-ass R&B music and blues. Need such a good singer like him come back.
This is my jam still to this day. Takes me back to the simpler times in life!
Ralph and Bobby are my all time NE favs
He’s so talented every time I listen to this song I get happy and excited I will always be an big fan of his
This is almost too much. I only found this version yesterday! Nearly 8 minutes of Ralph Tresvant at his prime and sexiest singing one of my all-time favorites and dancing with Bobby Brown at the end! If I had been old enough back then I would've stalked him!
Still back here jamming in 2024. Absolutely love this song. Just realized it existed last year :(
I've probably listened to this song 15 times in the last week 😩😍😌
Watchvlogyup i thought it was just me.
lol
The New Edition movie brought me here, but I've always been a fan!
Miss V good for u
This was the Jam back in the days!
