Meet Dr. Tyler Luthringer, a dedicated orthopedic surgeon at CONA, specializing in surgeries of the shoulder, elbow, hand, and upper extremity. Originating from upstate New York, Dr. Luthringer pursued his medical education at Rush University in Chicago, followed by a rigorous orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City. He further specialized through a fellowship at the Rothman Orthopedic Institute in Philadelphia, focusing on various shoulder surgery techniques, and completed a second fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery back at Rush in Chicago. Dr. Luthringer shares a personal connection to his field, driven by his own experiences with upper extremity injuries from ski racing in Vermont and New Hampshire, leading to four shoulder surgeries. Now settled in South Carolina with his family, he is excited to bring his unique perspective and expertise to his patients.
