As a rookie who's dying to catch his first tuna I can't thank you enough for all the information and knowledge you share TK. Valuable information and quality content 👌🏼
Thanks Mike, I have a subscription site that everyone subscribes too where I share information and weather forecasts for Australia and New Zealand and do live feeds where everyone gets together and chats about all things fishy, great community, no egos, just a bunch of good buggers sharing the knowledge
The Offshore Crew, link is at the top of the page.
@@tkoffshorefishing thanks mate, might have to check that out 👍🏼
Where are you based Mike?

I live down in South Australia. I'm just a recreational fisherman but you can never have enough knowledge and I find it really interesting watching blokes like your self explain the tech and ins and outs of the industry 👌🏼
I'm the same Mike, I learn just as much from the recreational fishers. You can never stop learning
bloody great vid TK thanks for shearing your knowledge it take years of experience to learn what you have told us again thanks
i could listen to you talk fishing all day haha deff know your shit mate cheers
Lol, cheers mate
Great info TK, thanks mate!👍😎
cheers mate
Awesome part of the country 💙💚
Paradise mate
Thanks!
Paradise with no flies but everything's up hill
25:50 TK thanks for that water depth knowledge. A lot of anglers aren't even considering the 3D perspective of the depth of a preferred temperature column.
Not sure if you have the ability to view way over to the Western Bahamas both North & South of Grand Bahama island along the Eastern edges of the gulf stream. Was curious where you'd recommend looking for the yellowfin tuna.
There's some very exciting research being done now so I will keep the team updated on any developments.
We were considering doing forecasts for Florida area's but we were concerned about the American legal system. Seems everyone over there sue's each other so legal advice said to not to do it.
I do and I don't agree with your "fish finding" techniques. A lot better targeting info by use of the likes of Sea Surface Heights & current direction & speed.
All that information is covered off on my subscription site. You have limited time during a public speaking engagement so just the basis were covered in that particular talk.
TK, youtube vids are not my business. I'm the bloke in the red coveralls & the red checked shirt & the extremely faded red checked shirt. Now back in Thailand after a NSW Ticket / AMSA Tickets conversion mission. Couldn't get a job in AU due to all Indonesian & Philippine Deck & Engineering Capacity Crew. I'm the first local NSW co to hire an Indonesian decky to teach the local crew how to use rope gear. Looks like it backfired on me.

Giving your tips away will lower your catches.
How is that going to lower my catches?
We don't fish the same area's and the recreational fishers appreciate the sharing of knowledge.
@@tkoffshorefishing Ok thanks.
All good mate , I have found that sharing knowledge with the recreational fishers has helped break down the boundaries between the user groups in a shared fishery and created a lot of goodwill.
