Okay the rip off Whitney and Mariah moment was a fail, Megan and Dua aren’t legendary enough to pull that off yet. But Gaga was an absolute delight! From her helping SZA, rocking out to everyone’s performance every time the camera was on her, and representing Tony Bennett for their album tonight, even if she looked like a Sim during her performance (which I died when I saw that part ☠️), she did an amazing job! Also Bruno and Anderson doing choreographed award acceptances for their “clean sweep” was funny af 😂😂😂 and @ the people who think Bruno Mars was serious/didn’t get the joke, when Trevor goes to commercial break Bruno smiles and hugs Trevor. He was totally in on it and was joking back.

The only reason it happened with Whitney and Mariah was due to the misogyny in the music industry, where they would pit female singers against each other. Whitney and Mariah did that skit as a way to say “hey, we recognize people compare us all the time and want us to hate each other, but we love each other and respect each other’s talent”. The only reason why I say Megan and Dua aren’t “legendary enough to pull that off yet” is because they have only been in the music industry for a few years, and it’s not like they were friends who were compared and pitted against each other and needed to make a statement.
