I do t think there is anything wrong with what she is saying. She asked her what her opinion was. Now if it was an unprovoked opinion then yes she would have been out of pocket but Kim asked her a question and she merely and gave her opinion on how it looked.

It's the job of adults to set the boundaries AND maintain them so North can grow as a person. To do things like explaining why expressing her opinions in a certain way can be seen as intentionally harmful and disrespectful. North is testing Kim and she faces 0 resistance.

Whoever looks at this with a bit of empathy: this girl went through a lot. Her parents divorced publicly, her father has been causing big drama on one hand and he’s clearly been suffering on the other. Her mum is obsessed with superficial stuff and so narcissistic, she has to make every private matter public, while the world is burning and thousands of kids are getting slaughtered.
I think this is North being passive aggressive to a mother she probably feels really hurt by. You can tell this kid has a genuine soul, like every kid. Give her time to grow up. She’ll be a wonderful woman.
And: Kim shouldn’t give a kids opinion so much room, especially when the kid is trolling her. It’s not constructive thing todo and makes Kim look like a child as well.

this was insanely fun to watch and I love your channel SO so so much. aside from that, i couldn't help but think about how maybe in 15 years from now we'll look back thinking how did we let this show keep going like sheesh North gonna grow up and talk about how much she was probably hurting over her parents' divorce and chaotic behavior around this time and felt like the only way for her to survive was learn how to be funny like a lot of kids do 😢 I mean she's probably gonna be amazing and it looks like she's also having some fun in the present, but does anybody know what I mean? like this isn't gonna age well I feel like we're gonna look back at these seasons and feel really bad for her 🤷🏽♀️

She said all that "commentary/opinion" in a "rude" way with full intention thinking that it would sound funny. You can see that everytime she hears responses from the designer and Kim she just laugh it off and smile. She knew that she can get away with it and thinks people genuinely find it funny.
I used to be that kind of child too and now that I've grown up i realized that it brought more harm than good, my mom's friends don't want to get near my mom esp when I'm around because what I said often hurts them.
It's true that "let children express themselves" and "let children act like children", but they also should have been taught to be respectful/mindful when expressing their opinions. It's not like being fake/sugarcoating, it's more of like how to voice your opinion/criticism in a constructive way. Emotional Intelligence is important.
