I'd say they were both equally huge in this period.These two queens practically owned music in Europe.C.C. Catch even had concerts in Japan. Both girls are uber charismatic and beautiful beyond belief.

Dereck, C.C. Catch was Dieter Bohlen's project (the blond-guy from "Modern Talking").
Bohlen says, he gave away to her songs that were not so good enough for "Modern Talking" (in Bohlen's own opinion of course).
Bohlen says lots of things. Early MT and CC Catch is a colab with Luis Roriguez.. Bohlen's productions without Rodriguez are more bland, if they are even his to begin with.. Bohlen also never sang anywhere. The whole Blue System thing has been settled with real singers long time ago in courts.. He's more of a business man rather than an artist..

Dude! I haven't listened to this song in like 20 years. That guitar riff is so dope and the chorus is wonderful. Reminds me a little of that Laura Brannigan song "Self Control". Damn I miss the music of the 70s and 80s. I was born in 1980. And over the last 30 years I have consumed so much music. I listen to almost everything from heavy metal to disco and freestyle and new wave and pop to classical composers and IDM, EDM, jungle, trance and drum and bass. I'm always happy to give suggestions. Some of my favorite songs of her are Strangers By Night, You Can Be My Lucky Star Tonight, Heartbreak Hotel and this one! You Can My Lucky Star is probably more obscure than the rest as i am not sure it has an official clip, but it’s by far her most dance inducing and catchiest tune by a long mile, even if you are not going to give it a reaction cuz of no clip, then at least give it a try and listen to it off camera do yourself a favor! I’m pretty sure that Strangers By Night and Heartbreak Hotel are very popular and both should have clips!
