Today, there are a lot of updates from the Liman direction.
Here, Ukrainian forces recently recaptured significant portions of territory along different vectors on the Kreminna line. Recent geolocated footage indicates that Ukrainian forces recently regained lost positions east of Terny and Yampolivka, one of the hottest areas in this direction.
As you may recall, Russian forces are trying to take control of these settlements to cross the Zherebets River and have a direct path to attack Liman, which plays a key role as a logistical and supply center for the side that controls it.
Ukrainian military observer Kostyantyn Mashovets recently confirmed that Ukrainian forces advanced about 1.5 kilometers near Terny and Yampolivka in a matter of few days, when Russian forces decreased the intensity of their attacks.
Geolocated images released by the Ukrainian soldiers operating in the region, show fragments of the counteroffensive efforts in various trenches near the Terny area. The footage shows fragments of intense combat fire, as well as the high degree of preparation and coordination of efforts carried out by a commander in the front line. Additional footage shows the destruction by Ukrainian forces of a Russian BMP using the Ukrainian ATGM "Stugna-P". These and other videos show a clear improvement in the available means and ammunition by Ukrainian forces, which is tipping the balance on the Ukrainian side at some specific points of the front line.
However, the main and direct reasons for this sudden Ukrainian success are twofold. Firstly, as Mashovets indicated, elements of the Russian 20th and 25th Combined Arms Army were likely regrouping in preparation for resumed offensive operations near Terny and Yampolivka when Ukrainian forces counterattacked and regained lost positions.
Secondly, different Ukrainian sources operating in the Lyman direction stated that Russian forces are conducting offensive operations in the area exclusively with squad-sized infantry groups without armored vehicle support. As you may recall, Russian forces were reported to have lost more than a hundred armored vehicles in the first four months of the year in the vicinity of Terny alone due to continuous and infructuous attacks on this vector.
The sources added that these Russian squad-sized infantry groups attack one at a time but that a second squad-sized group will potentially follow behind an initial assault group to help secure captured positions. These tactics, which lead to a high number of personnel losses, are often referred to as "Wagner tactics".
The apparent poor planning by Russian commanders, the lack of armored vehicle support for the infantry, and the continued abuse of unsustainable tactics have meant that the Ukrainians have been able to take advantage of this period of regrouping to recapture in a few days a significant stretch of territory that has been disputed for months.
As a result, Russian military bloggers recently claimed that the Russian MoD dismissed the commander of the 20th Combined Arms Army, Lieutenant General Sukhrab Akhmedov. Claims of his removal are notable as this would be the first removal of an officer actively commanding Russian forces in Ukraine as a part of the most recent round of dismissals.
And the favorable news for Ukraine does not stop there. Ukrainian sources recently reported that Ukrainian forces made significant advances in two large areas in the Serebryanske forest area, one a kilometer deep along a two-kilometer-wide front, southwest of Kreminna, and the other south of the first one, in the vicinity of the Donets River. This operation was carried out by soldiers of the 12th special purpose brigade "Azov" and the 1st operational brigade "Bureviy" of the National Guard.
Several recently released geolocated images show Ukrainian counter-offensive efforts in the Serebryanske forest. The first video shows the destruction of a Russian tank and a Russian BMP with what appears to be Ukrainian artillery fire. A first vehicle escapes a direct hit by a few meters and soon after tries to turn around to flee. A few seconds later, it is completely demolished by the artillery fire. The final images of the video show a second armored vehicle, in this case, a BMP-2, also destroyed a few meters away from the first tank. 🔴 ANSWER: While the idea of a second chance for salvation is appealing, the Bible is clear that death is the end of all chances. Hebrews 9:27 tells us that we die, and then face judgment. So, as long as a person is alive, he has a second, third, fourth, fifth, etc. chance to accept Lord Jesus Christ and be saved (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31). Once a person dies, there are no more chances.

🔴 If ever someone should have repented when given a second chance to see clearly the truth, it was the rich man. But although he was in torment in fire, he only asked that Abraham send Lazarus back to earth to warn his brothers so they didn’t have to suffer the same fate. In him there was no power to repent because there was no presence of the Holy Spirit in his heart.
The Holy Spirit works only in the hearts of people who are alive on earth. Was pain and regret for where he found himself.
Abraham’s answer says it all: “And he said to him, If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded, even though one rose from the dead” (Luke 16:31). Here we see that the witness of the Scriptures is sufficient for salvation for those who believe it, and no other revelation will bring about salvation to those who do not. No second, third, or fourth chances would be enough to turn the heart of stone into a heart of flesh.
🔴 What about those who do not believe? Wouldn’t they repent and believe if they were given a second chance? The answer is no, they would not because their hearts are not changed simply because they die. Their hearts and minds “are at enmity” against God and won’t accept Him even when they see reality of Heaven. This is evidenced clearly in the story of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31.
🔴 Moreover and of big importance against the deceptive teachings of Satan who deceives people by those he possesses: Abraham tells the rich man that it is impossible for anyone there to come to Heaven from the torments of fire or vice versa. (Luke 16:26)
If someone is in the home of the dead, in torment, waiting for judgment, will not enter to Heaven! It's impossible!
If someone tells you otherwise is deceiver.
🔴 To understand what happens to nonbelievers after they die, we go to Revelation 20:11-15 which describes the Great White Throne judgment and the Lord Jesus is the Judge of mankind John 5:22 "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son".
🔴 Here takes place the opening of the books and “the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” The books contain all the thoughts and deeds of those being judged, and we know from Romans 3:20 that “by the works of the Law is no flesh justified.” Therefore, all who are judged by their works and thoughts are condemned to Hell. Believers in Christ, on the other hand, are not judged by the books of works, but their names are found written in another book: the “Lamb’s Book of Life” (Revelation 21:27). These are the ones who have believed on the Lord Jesus, and they alone will be allowed to enter heaven.
🔴 The key to understanding this is the Lamb’s Book of Life. Anyone whose name is written in this book was “saved before the foundation of the world” (Ephesians 1:4) by God’s sovereign saving grace to be part of His Son’s bride, the church of Jesus Christ. These people need no “second chance” at salvation because their salvation has been secured by Christ. He chose us, He saved us, and He will keep us saved. Nothing can separate us from Christ (Romans 8:39). Those for whom He died will be saved because Lord Jesus will see to it. He declared “all that the Father has given Me will come to Me” (John 6:37), and “I give to them eternal life, and they shall never ever perish, and not anyone shall pluck them out of My hand” (John 10:28). For believers, there is no need for a second chance because the first chance is sufficient.
🔴 In Philippians 2:10-11 we have this testimony: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” One day, everyone will bow before Lord Jesus and recognize that He is The Lord and The Savior. At that point, though, it will be too late for salvation. After death, all that remains for the unbeliever is judgment and damnation in Hell fire for eternity (Matthew 25:41, Mark 9: 43-44, 2-Peter 3:7, Revelation 20:14-15, Revelation 21:8).
That is why we must trust in Lord Jesus Christ in this life. That is why we must follow the Lord Jesus Christ!

How? The Russians seem to be gearing up war production and recruitment while there is a finite amount of recruiting that can continue in the Ukraine. If there is a Trump presidency, then what? Nor will the EU sign off on endless supplies of war materiel and training for Ukrainians. Peace has to be somewhere in the equation. The sooner the better in my opinion as Zelenskyy cannot keep selling the dream of recapturing the Crimea.

The irony of that Kharkiv offensive is they’re saying it was supposed to draw resources *away* from the east; but now they’ve spent so much on it they’ve had to draw their own resources out of the east. It’s not much of a feint if you spent more on it than they did.

That whole area seems to have passed hands several times over the past few months. For reliable reports from that section of the front I recommend Motolife UA (it was a biker channel until 24.02.22) - lovely guy, doesn't go on and on (he's at the front), decent English subs. He tends to do a general reoort on Fridays
@1midnightfish I have been following the maps since bahkmut. The micro district has not changed hands multiple times. This is the first time Russia has captured it. The micro district is also the most heavily fortified part of the chasiv yar complex. Russia has now captured all territory up to the cannal and they can begin launching strong cross cannal attacks to finish the job

Russia gains ground by going in to a sort of 'high burn' state in which they expend soldiers, ammo, and vehicles at an accelerated rate. This can lead to shortages of critical supplies and manpower which may exceed the capacity of Russian logistics to easily correct, leaving Russian forces vulnerable. It's not really a sustainable strategy, unless Russia's available reserves of ammo, machinery, and soldiers are a lot deeper than those of the country they're fighting. And, well, they're not. Not by enough for Russia to win while fighting this inefficiently.

Rus can produce plenty as well as help from other countries. But . There tactics are ancient. Is y they not really being the force they could be. BTW. They have lost alit of farm workers and has been shown small towns have only a few old ppl .

@@lloydbeattie9370 Can they produce plenty, though? Artillery shells, sure. But modern tanks depend on a tech industry that Russia simply never had. Hell, they're having trouble producing ball-bearings of an acceptable standard. Which is harder than you'd think, but still embarrassing for a supposed superpower.
