Does the lp shoryu has a low hitbox (to 'ume shoryu' low pokes)? Does cr.hp forces stand (for tatsu combos to work)? Does the parry animation also parries low's without inputting down? Thanks.
no it's a move that while countering your opponents move crushes them and allows you more time to punish them...also does more damage then a regular counter move
+mchlup A counter-hit is when you hit an opponent with an attack during the startup of any of their moves. Any move can cause a counter-hit. A few moves however (mostly heavy attacks), when they counter-hit, cause a crush counter. This gives the counterhit a special property which could be something like a juggle, hard knockdown, long hitstun, etc. You can tell a hit is a crush counter because of the yellow electricity effect around the opponent.
+yamcha111 You are playing in pad right?? SOund like a pad problem. Do this: After Crouching Fierce take your thumb out of the d pad and then do the dp.
I had the same problem. Try doing the cr. HP by holding down forward and once that connect make a 'Hadouken' input: the forward from the down forward HP will count as the forward for the Shoryuken. I guess technically you could input down forward P into down, down forward P
I'm just getting into SFV now and this is still useful, even after being given advice from other good players. Thank you 2016 Sajam
Very comprehensive breakdown, as usual. It's much appreciated from a new SF player
Im hyped for the future content, keep it coming Sajam!
Thanks so much for hustling out these tutorials man!
great stuff as always
they are back as awesome as ever :3
Love the breakdown, do one for everyone!
Denjin Hadouken also acts like a guard break.
Thank you for the insight

How do you make the v trigger hadouken? not the empowered one but the one where the animation comes and it deals a ton of dmg
FlackooPretty double quarter circle forward and punch
Is a crush-counter any move that goes through an opponents counter ability? I just want to make sure I understand it right.

Tyrone Biggums Thank you.

Yup same thing here, we just gotta do the input cleaner.

@SupermanSajam What capture card do you use/suggest?
This may seem silly but how do you charge up his hadouken?
+Tonicfly1337 Just hold the button down after the motion. Do note that you can only do it while in V-Trigger.
Thank you!
I wish Back roundhose were a overhead too. Shucks
"We" do you have a staff now?
