William Miller and his associates used the Lunar Calendar, calculated by the moon phases, to set the date October 22, 1844. Seventh-day Adventists need to know that the SDA Church and the 2300 Day Prophecy are based on the Lunar Calendar.
William Miller predicted that the world would end on October 22, 1844 and that Jesus/Yeshua would return to gather His people. This event is called "The Great Disappointment" because Yeshua didn't come back on that date. William Miller and the thousands of Millerites believed the Day of Atonement was when this earthly sanctuary would be cleansed.
This revival was referred to as “The 7th Month Movement,” because the Day of Atonement is always on the 10th day of Tishrei, the seventh month of the Biblical luni-solar calendar (Leviticus 23:27-32).

As a former SDA Pastor, i want to say thank you for sharing this and these videos...WOW! i say, only HONEST people will leave the established false SDA church and OBEY YAH The Creator. To think that way back since 1938...and again in 1995 (when i joined and was baptised into SDA) this was well studied and DENIED....i did not know or remember this topic being discussed...and only since January 2023 of the gregorian calendar i finally came to learn this truth WOW..i wasted about 30 years of my life in error and was responsinble for baptising over 1000 people into ERROR.....OMG OMG i appreciate the good times but i also feel like a fool...not knowing... NOW i live in the Caribbean and was born here....trying to figure out how can i reach and baptise over 1000 people into THIS TRUTH. YAH HELP ME please

At the beginning of William Miller’s dream, he gives a brief description of the casket that contained all of the precious jewels that were scattered around the room by the visitors. In his description, he gives only 4 points of evidence to consider,
1. It is made of Ebony.
2. It is inlaid with Pearls.
3. The dimensions are 10” x 6” squared.
4. A key was attached to it.
In basic math, the term squared is used to denote a number that is multiplied by itself. In essence, 6 squared is another way of saying 6 x 6. So, the whole dimensions of the casket are understood to be 10” x 6” x 6”. The total volume of a box with those dimensions is 360 cubic inches. 10 x 6 = 60. And 60 x 6 = 360.
The significance and symbolism of the number 360 is not limited to the prophetic year, or even to the seventh month movement as the Millerite’s believed. As noted in earlier chapters, the solar year is 365.24 days longs. And the lunar year is 354.37 days long. The 2 different years averaged together are 359.8 days, or as appropriately rounded to a whole day, 360 days. That number is a type and metaphor of the biblical lunar-solar calendar.
The physical dimensions of the casket, being a total volume of 360 cubic inches, is not the only symbol that represents the biblical calendar. The physical description also has a strong intellectual and spiritual connection as well. The casket ‘as Miller said’ was made of Ebony, probably the darkest of all woods. It is most commonly known to be used in making the black keys on a piano. To the natural eye, it appears to be as black as the night sky, and that is probably the intent of the designer of the casket. The second notable description was that it was curiously inlaid with pearls. Pearls are naturally spherical in shape. The apparent intent of the white inlaid pearls on the black background of the casket, seems to depict a full moon in the night sky, often called the Paschal moon, which is a transliteration of the Greek word for Passover. Since there is no obvious connection between the Passover moon and the number 360, except through the lunar-solar calendar, than the correct symbolism is more likely to be that of the biblical calendar itself, than the Passover moon.
I think it's more important to stick with the calendar used, rather than getting sidetracked on a dream.
Happy Sabbath, we in Switzerland are most the time one day later. We believe, the new moon, (counted from conjunction 🌚) needs to grow 36 hours, able to be seen the first slider 🌙 with naked 👀s. What are your experiences ? We also have no added 13th month, this new year (creators calendar) will fall the “day night same”, in the first month. Hi, I believe the October, 1844 date was actually the start of satans little kingdom time, before Yeshua/Yahusha comes back the Final time. Im a Partial Pretorist believer. HE came back as HE said HE would, before many of those HE was speaking to passedvin death. MellinialbKingdom of 1,000 years has comevand gone. According to Miller himself, and any honest reappraisal of how to interpret prophecy using history, the 1844 date is a big 'nothing burger'.
I'm also a former SDA, and accepting that we have been lied to and manipulated has been very difficult and still is.
Ask your smart phone: 'What day was the Day of Atonement for the Jews in 1844?" Google says it was September 23, 1844, not October 22 like William Miller calculated. This year 2024 the Pagan Easter 🐇🐣 and the Jewish Passover are not even in the same Lunar Moon-th either. These differences are due to Hillel II's Metonic Cycle and a 13th Moon-th either being or not being added which throws off an entire year of feast and fast 'Day's' if calculated incorrectly. Also individual feast, fast and New Moon 🌒 days get shifted off of YHWH ELOHIM'S Appointed Times with Hillel II's 'RULES OF POSTPONEMENT' because he carved into stone, Venus 'day' 🌞 night 🌃 and the day 🌞 of Saturn 🪐 on Constantine's Julian Calendar and now on the Papal Roman Catholic Church Calendar. I asked Google: 'What Scriptures in the Bible prove that sun 🌞 day is the Bible first day of the week?" & 'What Bible scriptures prove the Bible 7th 'DAY' ☀️ SABBATH 'DAY' 🌞 is from Friday sunset 🌄 to Saturday sun ☀️ set 🌄?" I meticulously went through all the scriptures Google listed and could see no proof.
