Thanks guys - like Tom’s breakdown of the technique- and Nitzan’s execution - looking good out there. Other shot I’d love to see in this series - high bounce midcourt ball - thanks.
Thanks. I appreciate your pointers and observations on this technique, particularly on what it can give you when striking a relatively low ball. I'm just an older average rec player, but I've found a version of this really useful when attacking a weak second serve; especially in doubles where I'd say angles are everything.
This will probably help with that. There’s not much more to be explained. If I explained the exact swing path it wouldn’t be the same for everyone because of grips etc.
i think this shot is super underrated. The fact that u can apply sidespin can cath off guard a lot of opponents. U can prepnare for a inside out forehand and instead hit an inside in with side spin and make the ball curve out of the sidelines.
Hi Tom, loved the part about hitting around the ball. For fun, I sometimes try hit on the outside or inside of the ball, depending on the incoming ball, the angles and spins it creates is really interesting. Great work
The short ball to the forehand that bounces high. My serve is my biggest weapon and players seem to chip this high ball back on the serve return and I hit end up pushing it into the net. I can’t figure out what to do.
Could you please do a video explaining the differences in contact point for regular vs buggy forehand? Is the contact closer to you for the buggy forehand? What about the impact point on the ball? Does the buggy forehand work better if we hit more on the outside of the ball?
The buggy whip forehand is a great shot that many players dont use enough to generate angle and spin. Would love to see some videos on the serve, some videos on point construction and how high level players go about winning their points👍
When I try the buggy whip, I usually end up hitting a moonball. It has very little pace moving forward through the court. How do I hit a flatter shot using the buggy whip?
In the true cross court for a righty I just once saw a training session where they put a wooden rectangle supposedly the lengh of an avg max extension of the opponent's arm at the volley. That is one thing is a medium cross shot and another is a real one with no option for the opponent.

Ah ha ! The buggy whip allows great cross court topspin with a more open stance. Great tip. Thanks
I often hit into the net on low crosscourt forehands. Can’t wait to try this. I would like the buggy whip FH technique explained in greater detail. 👍🎾

Great tip thanks 👍
Backhand With the pull-Push-method a la rick Macci.
Good video! i was struggling with this shot. Thanks.
Really great vid that I'm looking for this technic! Thanks.
Looking good Nitzan!

great video! yes please give some more details on the buggy whip FH, thanks.
maybe next better angles but with backhand?
Very nice!! Thank you for sharing!!

Please share some basic ideas on half volleys. Forehand and backhand. Thank you.

Yes please. I'm also working on this specific shot but I'm trying not to buggy whip it....tips?
High over the net for cross court and low for down the line- correct? Thank you Coach- always great lesson ❤
Return of serve and the fourth shot would be interesting to see.
return of serve cross court

You don’t. The buggy whip is a result of hitting a lot of topspin
Is his finish incomplete on the buggy whip when it comes over his head?
I wouldn't say it's incomplete.
Great, now how can I hit it around the net post and back into my opponent’s court?
