I agree. But in lower mmr games, people usually expect an initiating offlaner. Hence, offlaner are forced to buy a dagger even if theh have planned to play the tanky playstyle. At the end of the day, it’s a matter of adapting to the situation.
I generally go Aghs before Bloodstone as I feel it's not AS slow, and early with a maxed Aghs SS you can destroy the enemy team with a well placed SS. This way you're not JUST a farming machine early, you also contribute. But I'll try BS rush and see what happens.
SK isn't S tier, i played this build a while ago, you buy pipe on the enemy and he's done, plus, you require a decent amount of farm his laning stage is strong but the hero isn't that powerful on teamfights maybe i'm wrong and i just got unlucky with the teammates who fed their lanes and made my hero look weak
SK is strong only if other cores had a good laning phase. If your safelane and mid got wrecked hard in laning, SK cant do much even if you have a good laning phase. SK is usually just for disrupting and annoying the enemies
Pipe doesn't ruin SK at all... you go Aghs and the disruption SS brings is massive even if it deals half the damage vs a Pipe. But it IS true that if your team loses the other lanes SK struggles a lot as you're more of a disruption and chaos merchant and utility teamfight hero. But as we all know it depends on team composition and all of that. I'm at like a steady 65% winrate with SK Arc Boots>Aghs>Blink>Defensive Item>BloodStone>Refresher Also, the lvl 25 SS 35% Blind+Slow talent is absurdly strong (actually leaning towards broken, cores without their BKB can't do shit in your SS)
@@thanks86 pipe is more than enough and once you got your scepter enemy cores are going to have BKB and unless you playing againist archons (which might be the case) they are going to go after you before BKB runs out because SK isn't that tanky either. So really easy to kill
I think if you supports can make plays and are holding off on their own, the bloodstone can come first. But if the team needs additional control in the early fights, then the dagger comes first.
Question bro. Why pick shiva over crimson guard against physical damage? I know shiva is better but crimson is a lot cheaper(so u can get it fast and gain advantage in midgame) and can give buff to the team during clash
All of SK damage is magical, so a shiva amplifies the damage output, slows enemies and decreases their healing while also providing armor. Crimson is a great item on most offlaners, but on SK, shiva is usually the better the option.
@@alexcoroza4518 yes, it would usually be crimson or pipe on most offlaners. But shiva just has amazing synergy with heroes like Neco, SK, Timber, etc.
I restarted playing a month ago from a ~5 years breack so when i heard you say "its not channeling like in the past, i am sure some of you remember" you're making me feel like a old man ahahah
4:35 what a stupid move. In any normal game, this would've been a bad play and waste of a ultimate by SK. Phoenix would simply fly away and Ursa would never engage.
I remember my shit teammates angry at me because I picked SK in 7.36b and 7.36c, saying "SK is useless now". They dont realize how good the giga aoe of sandstorm with the other facet.
Speed ure pretty high ranked, why dont play sk urself? ) 33 is one of the best offlaners in the game anyway. but it would be very nice too see you play SK like that :) love ur vids. ty again.
@@GaloJohnson i saw void pos 4 in ancient and hes not bad. Can harrass enemy support(only if they are melee) and they usually lose the trade because of time walk. Timezone also have improved aoe now. But yeah, better pick heroes like hoodwink as pos 4

It is crazy how people realize these builds late. I commented about this build on one of Speed's build ages ago. Dont go blink, get BS and get tanky
Sometimes good builds need to be kept secret so it wont be abused by many

But you will get reported for taking farm from your pos 1
THANK YOU! I dont use sk a lot, just got him for quest and I got 5lose streaks. Your video made it went to 10-1 LOOOL

I hope they won't nerf him again, he barely shows up I only see it in my games when I play SK myself...
Ye, me too, i see SK only when i pick him 😂
i rarely see SK in my games now. I still pick it and enemies pick it sometimes. 90% lose haha
You've earned a subscriber!
0:48. Let me guess, it has 2 stun, huge dps, good laning and become very tanky with bloodstone and shiva.
Which cases would you buy aghs?
it's still good and pros are picking it up, just after bs+shiva though
Always, prolly the best agh imo

I’d say he is A tier. He is to some degree reliant on the enemy picks. This alone, at least to me, makes him notS tier
I think Maulreen played SK yesterday n had a really good game.
Day 43 of asking speed to play position 1 Io
I feel like consistency will pay off, cuz I wanna see that too
Stfu youre just gonna grief and ruins pub games lol
We all do

He one shot the creep wave at 10:26. Is that a lucky proc from Stinger?
No it is normal. You have enough right click damage at that point + lvl 15 talent (+50 stinger dmg) to oneshot creep waves
