SPSS intends to release a patch file in form of .lib for v26.0 to work in SONOMA . do check on IBM SPSS website regularly. If it's there then you can upgrade .

Hi Thanks for the appreciation. This means a lot !!! On Monterey there should not be problems in installation as problems are occuring after SONOMA update . On Monterey u need to watch the video at 0.12 sec and follow it . In security and privacy you will find the option . To enable installation of third party files we need to use the command prompt . As by default mac os would not let you install third party apps. Hope it helps . Thanks and happy new year .

Hi there!! if you are using the latest updated Mac OS . Sonoma OS , then i am afraid it would not work. As SPSS 26.0 this version is not supported for the latest OS. For SPSS to work smoothly on latest OS wait for some time .
I saw on the SPSS website after registering that an interim fix for v26.0 will be released soon. As of now the latest release patch /fix for v29.0 is a .lib file which is to be copied and pasted in the lib folder before running the SPSS . So kindly wait for few days more for the fix for v26.0 on MAc os14

it should not ask for any password . Which machine are you using ?? Did you followed all the steps because if u miss then installer will not recognise ur machine and ask for code . More specifically follow 0.42 sec step very carefully

my macbook is M1 chip, but in the security and privacy there is no "Allow Apss Downloaded from: Anywhere". what should i do?
open terminal and run this command and enter password:
sudo spctl --master-disable
As told by @metehankara4728 you should do that . Until you run the terminal prompt you are not going to see those options .
