Hey i have a question i already finished a NG+ and im already at level 100 but i wont to play again with a different build and outcomes but when i try to go NG+ again the game is telling me that i need to have a save where i already finished the game so im a little desperate couse i finished main story ale DLCs aswell and the game is telling me that i dont

There is a specific topic not addressed here which I mostly blame those who made the game for, *not* you. I just finished another play through of the base game of the Witcher 3, yet I am entirely unable to access the DLC I purchased for the game with my original save files. Essentially it wants me to only start a totally new game and play through it all over again just to access the DLC.
The complete and absolute inability to do so is a laughably stupid kind of feature-lacking issue which I am honestly amused they still haven't fixed.
Never mind, my Xbox was just being r3t@rded.
The level you end the game at becomes the new level one for new game plus. For example, if you ended the game at level 54, and monster that was at level two in the previous game will be level 56 in new game plus. It's not automatically "plus 50| for a new game plus. Also, if you end the game at level 60, the new game grandmaster gear will be level 100 (previously level 40). Does that make sense? Besides that, great video!

So it's 50 + x, where x is the level of the monster/quest in the normal game, capped at 100.

So we must create multiple level Witcher gear.
I'm starting ng+ at lvl 100, is the best option imo, grandmaster gear stats are actually set at lvl 140!

just an comment about the level in the new game plus: the new level of quests/ enemies will be the level you started the NG+ added with the original level of the enemies/ quests.
that said, if you finished the original play with level 55, the grandmaster sets will be at level 95 (the original 40 level + the level you started the NG+)
Don't forget to dismantle the concealment kit, so you can take 1 pair of spectacles with you to NG+, if you wear them. The ass ears and concealment kit get removed.
At around 6:30, if you get those swords. At a low level. Can you sell them back to him when u get to a higher level and buy them back to level scale it?

So if i finish the whole game without ng+ finishing normally till blood and wine can I replay everything to ng+ or do i need a save from the normal game where i kill eridn and the do new game + cause how will i do new game+ without doing the dlc? Can i do new game plus after im done with all the walkthrough or does if have to be after i complete the normal story?
Lets say I have several saves just to be prepared, can I still load between new game plus and my old save?

So say I get the Mastercrafted wolf set for example if I go do new game plus will I be able to outright craft the grandmaster set right after I get the blueprints for it?
I think not, 'cuz in the new game plus you find the diagramm for the LEGENDARY grandmaster set, so you need the legendary wolf, legendary enhanced wolf, legendary, superior wolf, and legendary mastercrafted wolf, so basically nothing changes, it's like starting a completely new game, i think the only real advantage of new game+ is to play around with different playstyles and mutations. The armour....the basic kaer morhen armour will probably be as strong as your grandmaster gear, so unless the gear has some real special ability (iris or aerondight for example) or levels with you (blade from the bits) it doesn't really worth bringing with you, maybe they can be useful at early levels if they compliment your build well, and later you can dismantle them for crafting, but thats about it.
The most annoying thing is that i have to run around the world again collecting all witcher’s gears and rebuilding them to grandmaster again
I installed a mod that makes witcher gear scale with you for just this reason

I completed ng+ on my old ps4 person and when i installed the ps5 version and tried ro start new game + it keeps saying i havent completed rhe game in the save selected even tho i compeleted every quest. Any solution??

Only thing I dislike about NG+ is how there is no NG++, or alternatively, you must ALWAYS have a non-NG+ save file around to play NG+ next.
If you overwrite that non-NG+ save by mistake during a NG+ run, you will have to play the entire normal game again, from absolute zero, to be able to do a NG+ run again. It's terrible design from CDPR.

Also Gwent cards restart lol I was hella disappointed I couldn't stack a horde of cards lol

In my opinion you just get aerondight once you hit lvl 100 so you can get it max or near Max level already. I use the ursine silver sword because of adrenaline gain. It's better in my opinion. Just use bear gear enchanted to light armor. Makes death march a cake walk at max level.
But what would be the point of getting it lvl 100 when by the time you get to that lvl you finished the game and you cant new game plus twice
@@gamerlife4431 True, I just think damage provided by the ursine silver sword paired with ursine gear and nilfgardian gloves is tons better because of the adrenaline gain.

I finished the main questline and both dlc's, but "new game plus" is grayed out and i cant click on it.
So, should I start my NG+ with level 61? I heard somewhere that if you want your legendary Grandmaster gear to scale to lvl 100, you need to start the NG+ at level 61.

For grandmaster is 60, if you want the viper set at lvl 100 too it will be at 61
So the crafting diagrams go away, but if I were to craft grandmaster witcher gear before going into new game +, would I just lose the diagram but keep the armor?
Yes just done it, you keep all witcher levelled up gear along with runestone upgrades , pretty much everything, mutations,skills, money,junk,only thing you lose are trophys and quest items, ive just spent an hr (because of gwent) finding out, now im going to runewright my swords an armour as cant use him for ages an jump in
I am sad, i did not save 1st gameplay. finish NG+ with collect all good stuff now i can not use it. 😢. i wish we have an option.
If no other reason. Bring everything you were saving to sell or dismantle. You get it again

i can't stop thinking about what the best moment to get Aerondight (with NG+ in mind) would be. Let's say you start NG+ at Lvl 60 (to have the grandmaster armor at Lvl 100):
Do you want it as soon as possible or vice versa? What's more benefitial; the base strengh or level ups?
And when do you want the NG+ Aerondight? Do you even need it if you got the first one at the perfect moment?

You just have to level up the sword with your level.😊
Get Aerondight as late as possible, you can clear all locations and shoot endless drowners under water with crossbows to get to lvl 61 before collecting Aerondight. Also, if you want lvl 100 grandmaster gear you need to start the NG+ as lvl 61, at 60 it will be 99.

No you cannot, you can only start a NG+ from a first play through save file

I wish there was a steel version of aerondight, the grandmaster gears gets outlevelled so fast its no fun
Winters Blade is the steel version. Levels up with you. Get it in Skeillige during a mission. If I recall it may be a gift when asking for help with Ciri. Very likely you sold it like I did.

just finished the story, made the save as told for NG+, said only story quests would be gone the rest the same, well started new game+ and back with Yen in the tub and have exactly NOTHING ELSE. what a sham

You can swim over and go see the rune wright. I'm talking v1.32 before complete edition. I'm about to try a newgame plus in complete. Just updated my GOTY version to 4.03.
Any way back to 1.32 in new game plus. ign seems to work ok. But my everything done yrden is lacking in grunt. Aard freeze is working well normal aard is blowing bandits off of their horses.
The thing I like about The Witcher 3, is you can go anywhere you like at the start of the game. AFTER, you have played it and know what you want and where it is.
I'm still p's with the changes they made in the interface. Grrrrrrrr! But I'm curious about the spells and if/what they have screwed or made better. I suspect they have gone long battles bullshit, Pausing for meals and showers maybe even sleep. Sorry honey, no sex tonight I'm fighting a monster.

I thought ng+ was so that you could play through the game and be super powerful from the beginning?
But if everything levels up you may aswell just start a new game normally no?
Not necessarily, lets say you finally find the most fun build you could ever make, but by then you're practically exhausted of things to do. NG+ allows you to test that build through the entirety of the game, without needing to do some ludicrous anti-story mission grinding to reach that same peak.

But what's the point if the equipment is back to level 1 and you have to collect everything again? That's not the point of a New Game Plus. You can no longer use your things after the first quest because they are too weak...
Well, that's precisely the point; lets you start the game anew without technically losing anything and giving you more of a reason to adapt and change your builds without having to start a new game to test them, it's an opportunity to go through the game again without missing out on anything. On top of that, it allows you to get certain gear, such as the viper set at a good enough level to finalize your build with.
I completed the game in new game plus and I finished everything but I wanted to start a new game plus again HOWEVER it woudnt let me is that a bug?

I haven't played the game in YEARS and stated a NG+ in death march. It's honestly mad annoying. I day I like 2 hits. Any tips guys? 🙄😞
"gid gud" oh wait it's not dark souls, well i would say it depends on your IRL skill with the game of course but also with your build, maybe go for better/heavy armor or lvl up queen sign, upgrade your healing potions to max potential if not already done (Superior is the the best version), and if you like alchemy unlike me you have tons of decoctions that make you OP so i don't use them but that's off topic.
Also check if your gear isn't too weak, apply OILS to your blades depending on the type of ennemy you fight, but i think there is no way to tank a lot of hits anyway, you can 2hit most ennemies as well but surviving damage exept for armor and potions + queen sign, i would say just use dodge and parry efficiently and invest yourself in the fights cause nothing will turn you into a tank that's the point of high difficulty to be "realistic" a lot of witcher die on the path around you so being the main character doesn't make you less prone to dying at every "daily contracts" a wrath or a pack of ghouls are a threat to most witcher if they aren't 100% focused and prepared.
We just need unlimited ng++++++ cuz theres to much content and fun to be had

I was half a level away from 60 done everything on the maps, I couldn’t be stuffed farming for the rest of the xp so I think I just get level 99 witcher gear

I played this game for 100 hours done all the side quests and Witcher contracts and then I got the shittiest ending 😞
My biggest issue with new game+ is that it’s way too easy even on death march. I don’t min max in the slightest and I still steamroll just about everything
Play an immersed build that relies on School of the Wolf gear.
Or be a sigma chad and play an unoptimized ursine build for maximum pain.
@@ravidlevy5734 lol too funny and yet thats kinda what ive done here recently on a 1st playthrough, while grinding to lvl 70 (anticipating a NG+)
some enemies/monsters respawn but im mostly so overpowered now, ive begun experimenting with...handicaps? using lower level gear, No gear, maybe even Naked lol (using fists) instead of weapons,, limited Signs usage,, bull-rushing straight into the next mob/pack with a 1/2 full health bar... it keeps it much more interesting.
Seeing how awesome the Wolf gear looks just makes me sad that its still bugged on my Ps4 :(

You can only start a NG+ from the base game. Meaning you can't have NG++ if that makes sense.
@@allengalon Do the new "legendary" blueprints got different styles? like I saw the Manticore armor having a little bit of difference from the base game.
@@johnnysilverhand-- from my understanding, no. I have a feeling you are talking about the Grandmaster armour set which in that case you are only able to change the colour scheme of the armour with "dyes". The little difference you see from the Manticore armour set is possibly from mods if you are on PC. I don't think you can do it on Playstation or XBOX.
